I am an unfiltered cigarette smoker and roll my own. I have acquired a large paper wasp nest. I was examining it when the thought came to me that this might be a good smoking paper. I have looked up what the hive husk is made from and it seems it is simply wood pulp and wasp saliva. Wasps don't have wax or honey producing organs so I am sure the saliva is not harmful. I am curious if anyone else has had the same idea and if they have tried it. I don't cannot find any information online on the concept.

why are you doing this, for health? if you're worried about your health don't smoke unfiltered cigarettes, rolling papers are the least of your worries. (and american spirit/other supposedly natural tobacco is still bad for you.)

Wow.. that would be so awesome.. try it out and let us know, I'm hella curious now.
I can't imagine it would be that bad for you compared to tobacco or w.e. your are smoking inside.

Sounds interesting. Will it roll? I've never handled it but it seems it would't hold... But definitely try it out and report back.

I doubt you'll be facing any added health effects. The only possibility is mold, but the saliva probably has anti fungal properties, I'd imagine.

Or at least if your going to smoke it put a filter in it. That would do more good for your health than any papers. I'd recommend going for thin papers though, some of them taste like a sheet of A4 to me now lol.
