I only used Cloud 9 for about two months, but used a few times a day, every day. When i saw an infected wound on my septum, I stopped, and got on antibiotics. I cleaned the wound every day, but today I can clearly see a hole about a millimeter in diameter. Research showed one of the causes is cocaine use, but it said it would take a long time and alot to cause it. I don`t believe my usage of Cloud 9 would be considered alot, a 250mg packet lasted me two days. I am posting this for any information on why, how, treatment, or anything else.

This was accidentally closed due to a misunderstanding... so I've reopened it and edited out some of the unnecessary posts.

Sorry about that OP and hopefully we can get some more information about the intranasal effects of mephedrone, methylone and MDPV.

Go see a doctor now. Your drugs could have been contaminated with bacteria that may result in permanent damage to your septum if you don't get it treated.

^That's exactly what I said to the OP via PM's but she is resistant due to cost.

The layman does not have the ability to diagnose and procure the right type of antibiotics/antifungals for the infection. Find a free clinic or something but for the love of God get to a doctor! The most expensive doctor you can find won't take a fee the size of your nasal septum/soft palate.

Putting anything you don't know the constituents of in your nose is a bad, bad idea for this reason - you have no clue how you will react to the cuts and fillers. You're not the only one either - it's not just cocaine users that damage their noses from snorting stuff.

Stop snorting things and see a bloody doctor.

i haven`t been to a doc yet, but my hubby is a paramedic, and i also showed a nurse before the hole started....they both said give the antibios a chance...today the hole is bigger, but the infection is gone. Also the wound itself has almost healed. On friday i will go to a dr..waiting for payday, i am going o make sure the hole wont get bigger. after reading the info i found online, i found that many people have a hole, and nothing has to be done, as long as it stays the size it is now.

Are you on antibiotics currently? If so, which ones?

If you have an infection that is actively causing the size of the hole to increase, this could be a very serious condition. You really do need to see a doctor to get on a proper antibiotic regimen to get this resolved. Oral antibiotics as well as topical (mupirocin or the like) may be needed.
