How would nasal cauterisation (example, both nasal passages cauterised to treat frequent nose bleeds) affect the absorption of commonly insufflated drugs (ie. cocaine, methamphetamine, etc.)? Would the increased thickness of the membrane decrease the absorption?
Medically speaking, isn't the cauterisation low enough in the nasal passage that most of the drug passes that area completely and comes much closer to the sinuses?
Any info anyone? Anyone been cauterised? I would love to hear what you think personally.
Thanks.

i had this surgery performed as well, to fix the flow of air through my nose. i didn't notice any reduction in the absorbtion of drugs that i snorted after the surgery (opiates, ketamine, coke). takes about 3 to 6 weeks for it to totally heal, but once it does, everything seemed fine. thats my experience with it anyways...
i am gonna move this over to health q&a.
