My 2 cents; don't let yourself take a large dosage of amphetamines. It's just a bad idea in general IMO.

Me and my friend use anti-psychotics all the time on the comedown. or when we're feeling too anxious/paranoid after too big of a hit. we've never had a seizure. just don't take too many. and if it's something that you're already on, then the risk is lower i think.
You are right. That is horrible HR advice. But snorting a 300mg line of meth is a rough thing. so you must make hard decisions you otherwise wouldn't do. Meth psychosis is a bitch. I've just dealt with it recently. my friend was going through it. he held me hostage in his house because he was too paranoid to be alone. so he would just block the door when i would try to leave. But then i just felt sorry for him....

Granted, their are situations where extreme measures are needed and if meth related mental issues started to manifest (like mania or delusions) then an anti-psychotics may be appropiate.
However, Bluelight is a harm-reduction website and using powerful drugs like anti-psychs to counteract other powerful drugs like the amphetamines dangerous advice and should really only be done under the care of a medical professional.

The problem with using antipsychotics for this purpose (other than the risk of seizure) is that they can have adverse effects that actually increase the risk of psychosis. It's just like antidepressants that can make you more depressed and suicidal.

Beefy, I'm wondering if you are getting meth in NY. I'm only asking because it's pretty unheard of here outside of the gay community (not that there's anything wrong with that, my father is gay ) so was just wondering if you got it while living in NY or elsewhere.

Yup, if you want meth in NYC...after you've stop bitching about the high prices and If you're str8, you're going to have to become friends with 1 or 2 gay dudes because Crystal is their territory in NYC now. And the quality is always very good. But back in the 90s, in the rave/club scene, it was more mixed. You could find str8 dealers and users.
