naproxen & asthma

i have a possible infection so the doctor gave me naproxen 500mg hci
and at the moment im having an asthma like attack and an asthma attackis one of the side effects of the pills for those who have athma attacks,
anyone know if its bad if i keep taking them

yeah im sure, i know what asthma attacks are cause i have them since i was little, but my athma attacks are never that bad tho, they are always mild, i took the pills 3 times now ( one every 12 hours ), and like 15 minutes before i need to take the next one i get an asthma attack

I'd call a doctor, honestly. Naproxen can cause asthma to worsen.

thx for responding, i called a doctor who told me that i should quit, take asthma meds and go to a doctor tomorrow for other meds

Good deal. Asthma's not something to fuck with, as I'm sure you know. I've never had an issue with my asthma and NSAIDs, but that doesn't mean something couldn't happen. I'm glad you brought this up, and I looked it up, though.
