Naphyrone ban in the UK

My first post on here but been lurking for a long time now.

I thought you may be interested to konw that the Naphyrone ban has come in to effect in the UK and interestingly it covers naphthylpyrovalerone analogues as well. For the official text (amendment to the Misuse of Drugs Act) please see the following:

I decided to get some Naphyrone from my fave vendor when they ran out of MDPV. The effects profile seems similar based on the Wiki article.

(The first time I tried MDPV, I took way too much and it scared me off for a while. But as of the past few months, I've been a total fiend for MDPV. I snort about 15mg every hour, all day long, everyday until I run out. And it feels fantastic - I have come to love it, and notice very few side effects. I vastly prefer it to my scripted Adderall XR in all respects.)

Anyways ... here's my profile of naphyrone.

Naphyrone

Appearance and Texture:
Pure white crumbly powder. Little balls clump up in the vial but it is not greasy and sticky like MDPV. It's very dry. You can pour it out and chop it up easily.

Taste and Odor:
Very faint scent - kind of sweet with a subtle hint of mothballs. Tastes slightly salty, slightly bitter, with a distinct flavor that I would compare to a burned popcorn kernel.

Dose:
30mg and up. I can feel it around 15-20mg but it's not enough to satisfy.

Nasal vs Oral ROA:
I vastly prefer oral. It comes on slower and steadier and is easier to manage. There is a bit of an allergic reaction for me - the back of my hands itch on the come-up.

Nasal causes minor burn. Worst part is a very strong allergic-type reaction for me. I will have a sneezing fit, followed by itchy face and hands. Then my sinuses close up and I get an earache. My throat seems to tighten. After that I get a brutal temporal headache. Beyond that, the come-up is too fast and it triggers a dysphoric panic.

High:
At first, it creates a really disorienting mental fog. I start by feeling extremely fucked up all of a sudden in a dissociative kind of way. My memory and sense of time goes out the window. I lose some motor control and find it very difficult to think linearly. It's also difficult to speak. My eyes go googly and I feel bobble headed. My heart rate rises and I get short burst of anxiety.

After a few minutes, this gives way to a very chilled out feeling with a minor but enjoyable euphoria and manageable, subdued energy. I feel stimulated but relaxed (I may even yawn). This is interspersed with little rushing peaks that cause panic. The high is not really comparable to anything - maybe somewhere between MDPV and Methylone minus most of the pleasure. This stage lasts for about 30min and it's pretty nice overall.

Post the 30min of fun, it's mostly negative. I get left feeling cold and tense, with jaw clenching and shoulder hunching. The brain fog returns, and short term memory is jumbled, as well as disorganized and accelerated speech. There is an aspect of increased focus and patience however. I usually feel compelled to read or write during this crash. Emotionally, it's not too bad - though there are short bursts of anxiety and depression here and there. They are very uneven and difficult to predict. They seem to come and go in the blink of an eye.

Overall:
Would not recommend for any purpose other than an experiment for variety of experience. Does not hold a candle to MDPV (no confidence, no ambition, lesser euphoria) and does not offer any empathy or social boost whatsoever IMO, so it's no replacement for 4-MMC.

I'm stuck with a lot of it, so I may keep experimenting and report back if things change.

I really liked this stuff since it came out but always treated this the same as MDPV and never did more than 5mg i.e/ a bump the size of a pinhead at a dose. Everyone has their own chemistry and I prefer this any day to MPDV (which is the exact opposite to most people by the looks of it). I've held some of all 3; 'energy-1' meph and MPDV. MPDV has too much anxiety for me , meph
makes me look like I'm on something but this stuff always gives me bounds of energy and focus with a subtle buzz which lasts constant for many hours. Insomnia is the only downside I've noticed

Stopped taking it until more is known about its chemistry, just wondering if
anyone knows anywhere to get this professionally analysed. Would like to use it again but I'd really want to know the exact chemical composition and breakdown compounds.

what NRG-2 is is anyones guess.

the vendors are fucking naive if they think using bullshit names will slow the banning of these compounds. I would like to see these vendors taken out using the Medicines Act.

Apparently it's not specifically anything, but rather what they want to put in it.

About naphyrone, not sure about the carcinogenicity when taken by nose or mouth but smoking it doesn't seem like it would produce healthy fumes at all, on the contrary.

Personally, I am not interested by and large in this compound.

^^^^^^holy shit. I like those who have been saying don't buy from plant food vendors or vendors that label unknown compounds with catchy names. This is becoming about as reliable or accurate as saying you know what is in an E pill by what the presser stamped on the pills.

Glad I got to try methylone, butylone, mephedrone, and MDPV. One time I suspected my MDPV was MDAI or something of the like because it was way more halucinogenic/psychadelic, but def not any 2cx compound.

In the interest of REAL harm reduction, any companies selling NRG-x or unlabeled chemicals with a catchy name should be on a "bluelight ban"

We can make a difference by not buying this crap. The market will adapt. I must say that the UK ban has made finding overnight ketones/cathinones stateside WAY easier. I am guessing not for long, I am bidding adeau to the research chem market and will watch people die and companies fall from a distance.

11 DMC - Caffeine + lidocaine

Where is that table taken from? I always wondered why some people seemed were saying that dimethocaine was such a horrible drug when I found it quite pleasant (roughly as nice as methylphenidate). If people are selling caffeine with lidocaine and/or benzocaine, it's no wonder they're reporting it to be so aweful.

Just goes to show you that unless you have independent validation you cannot begin to assume that you're getting what you purchased.

Dimethocaine is such a cheap drug (at least it was- I had heard from a vendor once that they were spending less than 5 dollars per gram and selling it for 50 a half gram. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea if it was true or just bragging).

After all of this, does anyone think that no regulation at all is really a good idea?

We need the governments to step in, tax the shit out of every RC company, set the standards, set what chemicals can be made and ones based on harmful metabolites. etc. Daniel Siebert did it for salvia!

I don't know about heavy taxation but some sort of approval system could be implemented. The current pharmaceutical approval system is flawed, sure, but something similar could work.

Think about if at least some of that heavy taxation went towards making safer alternatives....things like mephedrone, nrg1 through 12, wouldn't be approved but who knows what a little extra money would do to shut up the governments and keep them from banning drugs without knowing much about them. Do away with all this "jolly green giant" shite going about the uk.

I've flushed down the toilet a quite significant amount of RCs that turned out to be either something crappy or illegal. At first it only happened with some stimulants but lately also with psychedelics. Sending 2C-I instead of 2C-E seems to be a favourite among the Chinese labs, happened twice already. Maybe just bad luck, but I won't ever touch anything without proper analytical results.
