i have already posted another topic in "The Dark Side" but I would like some definitive answers before i go to sleep. I went through detox, i had been primarily been using methadone ( under the 60-70mg blocking dose) for 2 years when.i couldnt get oxycodone. whenever i couldnt get oxycodone ( i had been taking 40-80mgs orally before "vaporizing" 80-120 mgs a day. my methadone use never surpassed 60mgs orally at a time to ensure that i could have anti-anxiety effectw as well as anti- depressant effects feom it. using like thos still allowed me to get a nod from methadone. 4 weeks ago I switched from using methadone to usind Hydromorphone, oxycodone, fentanyl, oxycodone until 4 days before detox which is when i swotched to codeine (4-600:mgs a day for 3 days).

the codeine didnt provide much relief, i was is constant withdrawal. i used alot of ketamine during this time and it seeked to help trendamously with my mood. before detox i used only 20mgs of methadone and was quite affected by it. from my owj subjective experience ot seemed as if the ketamine helped reduce my tolerance quite quickly.

i switched from primarily methadone use to shorter acting opiates/opoids to shorten the physical withdrawal symptomsn..i believe this helped tremendously because the main withdrawal effects only lasted 8 days, after 5 days only the Restless leg syndroms aje constant body aches remained until about 13 days.

after my 8 day detox i immediately started abusing benzos and lyrica to fill the mental/emotional void. after realizing that i was only replacing one addiction with another i talked to my addiction specialist about opiod maintanance therapy l, i quickly just asked him for Naltrexone trying to quiet the voices trying to get me on maintanace drugs.

I went on naltrexone for 4 days, used 4 OC 40's and didn't feel much of anything. i didnt take my Naltrexone that day hoping to feel something and trying to justify it by convincing myself that using when i know the drugs wont work properly will help me tk try to assofiate using drugs with no reward....needless to say, this didnt work ajdbi just craved to use more.

36 ;hours after my last dose of naltrexone I managed to get lyrica, xanac, methadone, codeine, dexedrine, and liquor. ive taken them all except the dexedrine. I am hoping the naltrexone is still working.

I took
20mgs, Methadone
150mgs Lyrica
60mgs Codeine
1mg Xanax
10 shots of ruml

i am just hoping that somebody can assure me that the blocking effect of the naltrexone isbstill working and thatvmybtolerakce to opiates isjtbsobpow now that i am not going to have to worry about not being able to breathe ir.i pass out....

it is a great struggle to stay up and i have a dexedrine if that might helpn

sorry it this is stupid and i am just being paranoid

Do you have someone that can watch you? I don't think that it's a good idea to fall asleep in your condition. You said that before detox 20mgs would have you pretty good, and now you just took it along with other drugs that potentiate the methadone. That's a lot of depressants to be combining.

I don't think that it's half-life is long enough for it to still be blocking other opioids 36 hours later. Naltrexone doesn't help with cravings, so you may want to consider switching to a maintenance drug like Suboxone or Subutex. But for now, I would focus on telling a family member what you have taken, and/or have them take you to the hospital if necessary.

In case someone else ends up in a similar situation, in my experience Naltrexone blocks the effects of opiates for 3-4 days after the last dose. On that fourth day, you might feel a "little" something. Not until 4-5 days after last days, did the opiate have full effect.
