Sorry about causing all the fuss. All I was trying to communicate was that it could be done, (whether it should is another matter). I'm the type of person that enjoys making things that work, whether it be small jet engines, electronic devices or go karts. They all have an element of risk, and only if you understand them should you even think of doing it. My mind was elsewhere in the original post, and I forgot the whole harm minimisation concept.
What most of the people above have said is correct. Don't be stingy, go get yourself a bulberator. I'll continue with what I have, only because I believe it is safe to do so (much in the same way that I test every pill). I'm a stubborn person I guess.
And on a side note: if you are thinking about N2O, when done with safety in mind, it can be quite an enjoyable experience
