N00b alert - facial burning sensation from heroin?

Hi, my name is Molly. I'm 30 yrs old/Fem. I currently reside in Chicago with my family. I've been doing drugs since I was 16, but heroin for the last 7 years. I've been in an out of Cook County jail a few times and i've been down to the penitentiary once, Logan Maximum Security Female Penitentiary. Thankfully, my criminal days are mostly over and now the only crime I commit is Possession (which yes, I did get popped on last august but thankfully the case got dropped).

My primary purpose of joining is to try to find out what is it in heroin that makes your face or toes burn. I shoot in my femoral vein, so most dope hits me hard and quick, but recently, I've been getting some bags that cause my face to get hot, or even feel a burning sensation. This has happened before to my toes and hands. Has this happened to anyone else? I know that if you hit an artery it burns, I've had that happen plenty of times. This is not that. Altogether, I still get high, but it burns unpleasantly. What is that from? my friend guess was too much niacin.

Good to here you're staying out of trouble for the most part - at least one of us has grown up.

In regards to your question, I've taken niacin and that's exactly what it does when you take too much, and taking too much isn't hard to do at all. If this answer doesn't satisfy you, which I would not be surprised to find out, then I recommend posing your question in Basic Drug Discussion. I would move your thread there myself, but I won't be online much tomorrow and won't do it now without your permission since this is half introduction half question.
