I don't know if you saw my reply in your first thread - Remind him of the prior discussion and the fact that your script was never increased even after he agreed to do it (an honest mistake, I'm sure). It may also help if you inquire about non-opiate options (celebrex, gabapentin, whatever fits your situation) and also particularly about non-med options (physical therapy, etc.) Make it clear that you don't just want more oxi, you want a solution for the pain, and you want him to work with you to find that solution. Good luck. My bf is in the same situation.
I am not sure why your thread was closed either. Living with someone with chronic pain, it sounds clear to me that you are looking for pain relief, not trying to get high. Unlike a different thread I came across earlier where the poster said they didn't want long acting drugs, only short acting ones - to me that's a red flag that they just wanted to get high. But I bet that thread is still open. Anyway. Good luck with your doctor and I hope you get some relief.
