As I stand on the rooftop of my apartment,I see her
She smiles at me,so warm and inviting
I have tried to fight her off so many times in the past
The temptation to go to her is so overwhelming now
I turn away, but I hear her call my name
Pleading for me,telling me that she is my only hope
Telling me that I will only find true peace in her arms
Assuring me that she will take away all of my pain
My suffering
My grief
That she is,indeed,my sweet relief
My eyes are blinded by the tears that are streaming down
Her arms are wide open and she calls my name again
Despite the anguish that all but consumes me,I feel a sense of joy in her face
I've always known that we belonged together
Fear was the only thing that seperated us
Now the fear is gone and I take a step closer to her
She calls for me,the sound of a thousand angels
Each step I take purges me of all doubt and fear
I finally reach her, standing on the ledge, ready to embrace me
With one final step,I fall into her arms
The wind rushes past me as the ground draws closer
I take one last breath
And kiss her lips,my angel,Death.

This celebration of death is not an angle I'm used to in my personal experiences, but this piece really makes the finality shine.
