My story X

hello xyakin as well as the emotional blunting you describe are you suffering from anxiety?

The reason I ask is because during my first long term comedown I had anxiety and emotional blunting as you describe and once I got over my anxiety and slept properly again then all my emotional blunting went and my interest in life came back.

God only 7 pills and then a long term comedown thats a a total bitch. I have sometimes done more than this in a single night! Well at least you can be pretty confident you havent abused yourself and have very unlikely done any permanent damage. Sounds like you have just been super unlucky.

In my case I have taken 500-600 pills so my symptoms are a lot more long term fueled.

Hey Vikingdancer i'm also having issues after taking too much xtc and dropping lsd once.
Did your doc say anything about meds that can help speed up the recovery process? i heard keppra (levetiracetam) can reduce the symptoms for some people suffering from hppd/dp/dr. Some members of the hppdonline forum have had success with it.

oh man, im sad to see this thread just die. I was liking the way it was going. Viking seemed to have some good insite from the docs visit. viking, if you see this, Yakiniku had a good question about the emotional blunting thing. I know futura responded, but im curious if the doc had a word on it.

for someone who is in the united states, think this addiction doctor might be able to help him.

hopefully your browser can translate it.

But they say they specialize in this type of reaction for people. I wonder if a trip out there for iN patient care might be a wise decision, and how much it might cost. In comparison to the trip im taking for 2 months.

Im taking a wilderness therapy program for 2 months. Maybe being with actual doctors who have experience with this might be a better idea.
