Hello guys, new user here. I've been a reader for many years and decided to join the family and tell my story of opiate addiction AND the process I'm currently in to fight w/d. I'm 24 yrs old with a son on the way and I want to give him the best life possible. All this started in high school with a few hyrdros on the the weekend. Well, that buzz is good for about a week and quickly led to OC's, Roxi's, and yes....my favorite OPANA!! Once I tried the Opana, it was over for me. I've been stuck in this spot for about 3 1/2 yrs now with everyday use of opana at about 40mg-80mg a day depending on my stock. I am now almost 40 hrs with ZERO opiates and to my suprise, I feel pretty damn good. Now, here's what my method that's working, take it for what it's worth. I'm just letting people know what is working for me in hopes to help someone else. Last night I put on 2 Clonidine patches that release .1mg a day. This morning I took 3-300mg Gabapentin (neurontin). Took 2 Immodium, and 4-200mg Ibuprofen. I can't believe I'm here at work now, not even thinking about my next rail and working as usual. My only complaint right now is a slight, I mean very slight headache and a TINY bit of weak knees. Other than those 2 minimal symptons, I really do feel fine at 40hrs with zero opiates being an everyday user. I've been through w/d many of times and yes I know the god awful pain. Just wanted to put this out there. Take it for what it's worth. I'm just a guy trying to help.

Cheers!, and hope this will help someone else get through the hell of opiate w/d

Thanks,

ripper

good job, this is a combo that isnt really known and the fact that you seeked it out as a solution for yourself is a good thing. it seemingly works for you, but it may not work for someone else. definitely good input though. keep it up~

What do you mean 'this is a combo that isn't really known'? Clonodine, immodium (loperamide) , ibuprofen, and neurontin (gabapentin) are basically the four things you get in any detox i have been, after you stop taking suboxone.

There are many threads on this.

Thanks for the information. It may help others seeking a way out with a way to withdrawal. Good luck with getting sober & enjoy your soberness with your son.

I know that some of these meds are well known for withdrawal, just wanted to post the exact combo I had used in order to maybe help another suffering addict. As I know how desperate the feeling is of being addicted and wanting so bad to stop. I read a lot on here, and this exact combo really isn't on here that much. Each individual med is on here a lot, but wanted people to know what is working for me.
