"Peace, Love, Unity & Respect"
The lights, the sounds,
the music, the crowd.
The love, respect, and
unity combined.
Don't hear the music - Feel it. Listen to it.
Be mesmerized.
See the people dancing all night.
Feel the love from everyone in sight.
Unity through music.
No fights, no violence,
only love and respect.
Making friends, spreading the love,
happiness throughout.
Never wanting it to end.
Always wanting it to last.
Feeling wanted.
Feeling loved.
Feeling respected.
No fears, no worries,
just peace within.
"Please no violence" - never a concern.
Never is this ever a worry.
Only respect is given to one another.
I wish everyone understood.
But it's only us kids who know.
It's hard to put into words,
hard to explain a feeling.
Open your mind, free your soul.
Open your heart, let it in.
Something I love.
Something I crave.

no one said we didnt appreciate your words... we were (or at least i was) commenting on the fact that it brought back memories of a time when we (i) too thought these things...
 
Yeah, sorry if you took it the wrong way! I was in no way putting it down! But I too remember when I used to think/feel/be like that, and how easy and fun it was....

its a shame to hear you all commenting on how you wish you were that innocent again. even if it is all fake and fueled by drugs, the scene is still about that empathy and love you experiance. and even if it is all fake, i've made lots of friends through this... not just friends i know when im off my nut and saying things that i wouldnt normally say. even if what you say is brought on by the drugs, there is still an element of truth in it. the scene attracts friendly people, and its sad to hear you guys implying that its only drugs... or something. you shouldnt start regreting that loss of innocence... try going out without a pill and embracing that innocence you seem to have lost. it'll come back.
 
Super Afro Phil: Can't put into words how much I agree with you. Partying sober is an amazing experience that everyone should try. You will still find the love, respect, kindness, and honesty that you do when you're not sober . . . plur to you!

okay first off, i didnt hear anyone say that their experiences were fuled only by drugs. maybe i just missed it, but i didnt get that out of it at all... drugs are a part of the scene, yes, but drugs do not form the concept of plur or what have you.
you said that part of it is fake, and you're okay with that? well as for me, when i was like that - when i started partying - preaching plur and all that stuff - i didnt think it was fake, i knew it, i felt it - i LIVED it... or at least i thought i did
going without a pill and embracing that innocence? are you implying that everyone that once had this innocence is a pill munching plur preaching person? not true. everyone parties for different reasons - whether it be the people, the vibe, the drugs, the music, the dancing, or a combo of all or none of those. everyone keeps going back because they get something out of it - its different for everyone. you just have to find your own reason.
when i had this innocence - it was before i had ever eaten my frist pill. honestly, my first pill came after i lost the concept of plur and after i became more real about everything. innocence lost isnt something you can just gain back like that. i remember my first few parties - as a sober candy kid - i loved everyone around me - plur sounded like the best thing ever. there wasnt a bad vibe to be seen... but then after my views were challenged, i realized i was full of bullshit. i didnt see any bad vibes or any bad things cause i wasnt looking for them - they didnt exist cause i refused to believe that the scene was anything but full of love. i opened my eyes - wasnt necessarily looking to lose all innocence and what not, but i did, it couldnt be helped, and i wasnt going to try to hold onto something that really wasnt in me.
personally, i want my own reasons for partying to be true. i dont want to be fake about anything, cause then i'm just lying to myself. if innocence is lost, then fine, its gone. you just make do with what you still have left. and whatever your reasons for going to parties - they will keep you going - they will keep you coming back. they always do for me.

you wanna know what i think of plur...read my post in here about it.
unfortunately, it's not something i see in the 'party' or 'rave' scenes anymore. i've seen too much dishonesty, too much shadyness, and too much just plain wrong shit at parties to believe that anymore.
