My pharmacy messed up need advice asap

So I had a script for 30 and they accidentally gave me 90 and I called up to see if it was on pourpuse seeing as I had 3 refills. But they said it was only supposed to be 30 and asked if I could bring them back up. Could I just not bring them up and still get my refills?
 
I doubt you would get any of the refills, they probly wouldn't do bussiness with you anymore for real. I've never had a pharmacy mess up, so idk.. I wouldn't have called them back, I mean that's like hitting the lottery dude
 
I'm wondering if they noted that I called saying I have too many or if I don't bring them up they'll just forget about it. Trust me I realized I fucked up by calling them lol
 
I think if you take the 90, they will adjust it so you only get one refill. But it could be the case that you still get the 3 refills. It's better to be an asshole in this case, because you have nothing to lose
 
Yeah I think I'm ganna just play it dumb and be like "no I only got 30" that's what my buddy that works at the pharmacy told me to do
 
He also said the computer won't say I got 90 cause my script says 30. If my script were to say 90 on it then it would be recorded that I have 90 pills
 
You shouldn't have called them back. Your not required by law to give them back but they could cause you problems with your doctor if you don't. I might slip some pills that are not adderal into the bottle and claim that is what they gave you. They cant really say shit as its there fuck up either way. I might even call back and say I was mistaken and that you only got 30 and just looked at wrong bottle or something. Tough question with no really good options honestly.
 
i picked up two prescriptions. One:90 adderal and two:30 temazam but they accidentally gave me 90 temazapam. I'm wondering if I can say they put the adderal in the temazapam bottle and that's why I thought it was so much
 
Shouldn't have said anything dude... but now that you did, they know, so you're best off just doing what they said unless you want to risk definitely not going there anymore and possibly them telling your DR.
 
Tell them you made a mistake, that you were looking at the adderall bottle.

That's if they bring it up to you. Otherwise don't mention it again. If they ask why you didn't come bring them just say you were embarrassed you were wrong and looked at wrong bottle ...while looking sheepish....

That's what I would do...

That's tha truth, truth! The couldn't do shit, and probly had hoped you didn't call back.. That way they could claim you didn't have refills just one big Rx. Whoever filled it lost there job for sure, and is probly under investigation but both parties will be okay if it's an accident.. Were talking powerful narcotics being dispensed, there should never ever ever ever ever ever be any slight mistake whatsoever
 
Lol they keep count of the pills, there going to notice 60 temazepam unaccounted for + you calling saying you got 60 extra. So don't call or go back in there saying you accidentally counted the adderall or some shit like that. They aren't dumb, they'll know your lying. I just wouldnt go back.

What amount is printed on the bottle 30 with 2 refills? or 90 with 0 refills? If I were you and I did not want a problem with the pharmacy flagging me and or my doctor then I would simply take them back in or wait and call my doctor to tell him what happened. The reason that I say this is that your initial response was to call them and perhaps that was your intuitions way of sparing you some unseen problem(s). These pharmacies have camera's they could very well go back and check the pharmacist on camera to see what happened. They are also very strict with these types of medicines and they can and often do count there stock. If you play stupid and go back in there with some dumb story, you will be giving them the opportunity to call your doctor and flag you. You simply do not know what they will do in order to save their ass. You need to save your ass. I know of people for whom the pharmacy called their doctor, reported them to the DEA and flagged them for less. Some of these people lost their doctor and or their ability to purchase these types of medicines from other pharmacies. In America once you are flagged you can expect at least a year to 2 of untold and inconceivable problems getting your medicine. Some of these people have had to go to their doctor everyday in order to be medicated. I do not think that you want those problems. It just is not worth the headache. I wish you the best of luck.8)
