Bupe My own Suboxone and Dope experiment

I've personally found bupe at times to be a little enjoyable. LAst month I got down to .25mg a day and then one day did 4mg. I got a nice energetic bit of euphoria.

How is this a Suboxone / heroin experiment when you've been off Suboxone for 26 days? Nobody ever says that Suboxone affects heroin after 26 days. Whether you can get high off heroin is only being affected by your recent Dilaudid use. What people are always arguing about on this forum is how long Suboxone blocks the effects of other opiates, like whether it doesn't at all or whether you have to wait several days. No one is ever arguing that it blocks opiates for more than a week, so this "experiment" won't prove/disprove anything about Suboxone. It may prove you have a tolerance due to the Dilaudid though.

^I have to agree with the above poster. Suboxone's blocking effect really takes place once the patient has been stabalized, taking the same dose for consecutive days in a row, allowing the buprenorphine to build up so that there is a constant level of bupe in the individual's system. It's at this point that the blocking power of buprenorphine really shows its face. 8mg may block for 24 hours, but really at this point it's more a matter of tolerance, as buprenorphine itself is an incredibly potent opioid (8mg is equivelant to around 30mg of methadone).

As for trying to break through in general, it's really too risky and a waste of dope or pills if your at any dose above 2mg. It does happen, and I've even experienced it once where one bag of fire dope shot right through my 16mg of suboxone (a dose I had been taking for over a month), and got me legitimately high, like I was never on bupe to begin with.

But OP, what your doing is very dangerous. You can still OD. I know you have a nurse with narcan at hand, but is this experiment really worth the risk? I hope you don't try to do this again.

26 days? Yeah..i that's your last dose this isn't a good experiment lol. And I have to disagree. Bupe can block after the first dose for a few hours. Anyway...you should take them both in 24 hours or 12 is even beter for your little experiment. Although in the interest of HR I advise not to be your ginnea pig.

Because I had taken a 8mg Suboxone film and 9 hours later used to see how much it would take compared to my normal dose of heroin to get through the blocking. It had nothing to do with bupe blocking for 26 days. I had been off of it for 26 days, so it had all dissipated from my system. That was my whole point in trying this, and wasting the dope I had left. Just to test the blocking of a single 8mg dose.

Your right Znegative, this was a dangerous little experiment I tried. It was really for my own curiosity, but there is the old saying that " curiosity killed the cat"
As for the poster that was hoping for a combined bupe / heroin injection. I'm not going to try that one. But if someone else does. I would deffinantly enjoy reading about the out come.
