Hi everyone, first post here so don't be a dick. I've been on a stimulant kick for the past month or so and finally found a comedown/hangover cure that works for me, I suggest you try it sometime. I have a profound hatred for Benzo's and I haven't smoked weed for a few years, I support herb smoke I just grew out of it I guess..so I can't turn to the most favored comedown options.. My wife is pregnant and was prescribed fioricet for her migraines, and a friend gave her 90 tramadol 50mgs. She won't take either cud she's prego and age it all to me, WOOHOO(sarcastically AF). I was hitting that comedown start off of 150mg of Adderal and I occasionally get a headache when it starts, with 2 free bottles of pills I figured screw it. I took 4 fioricet and 100mg of tramadol then kicked back too some football. I didn't even noticed the headache was gone, and when I stood up I had a levitating feeling. It was nothing euphoric but I was super relaxed and just happy to be alive, it also let me keep feeling the stims without feeling the downsides. I highly recommend this combo if you have any laying around. Sorry for one long paragraph, I'm posting from a IPhone 4. Edit: I'm loving the feed back you guys, nice too see people on here care for each other, but I need to clarify myself. I take stims maybe once or twice a month, and don't take more than 150-200 milligrams within the 48 hours inset aside for the binge.. Occasionally I'll get a headache when i comedown, that's when I'll take no more than 100mg of tramadol and the fioricet.. I only take the tramadol right when the headache hits and I don't take more after that. I know it can be dangerous but i was only recommending the lowest dose and the safest time, not trying to ride a different wave on them. I appreciate the feedback so much, glad I joined the site, but I joined because I practice safe drug use, I study up and take care of myself. This was my first post, and I see now how I completely missed the point I wanted too make and seemed to be suggesting something harmful, my bad y'all. I'm new to forums, and never get too talk to other people who self-educate. I'll use better judgement on my word play next time, just hang with me

Oh my God my post above that was somehow lost. What I said is sex is great for a comedown. It works far better than benzos. It feels like heaven on earth. Nice 5hour or longer sessions....Excuse my bump. Dumb phone. .
 
I know the tramadol can increase stroke risk, but I'm not saying to down a handful by any means.. Solely a Rx instructed dosage taken with fioricet worked wonders for me.
 
I have mixed emotions with it myself, sometimes the sex is amazing and the orgasm are intense, but sometimes I'll get the shittiest feeling after an orgasm on stims.. It's like my brain backfires from too much dopamine
 
Using tramadol to combat the symptoms of an amphetamine comedown is a terrible idea. Nutrition and over the counter supplements as well as exercise are healthier and far better.



vitamin C (1000mg or so, helps metabolize all of the amphetamine at a faster rate)
vitamin B (I do b12 shots)
Omega 3 (Cardiovascular health/well being)
CoQ10 (Cardiovascular health/well being)
L-Carnitine (Or a protein shake and some leafy green veggies)
Go for a run or lift weights

I know it's not a good choice too use, I only take it if I'm getting a headache during the comedown, and only a normal dose at that, I have to stop the headache before I get a migrane or I'm done for. It's mainly the fioricet I was tryingto preach to people. It's a combo of acetaminophen, a barbiturate, and caffine. It's prescribed for migraines but has never helped with mine. But it makes a bad comedown enjoyable
 
Stop using Tramadol for 150mg Adderall comedown NOW, before you injure your spinal column and other nerve ramifications and end up in intensive care with SS. When both adrenaline and serotonin are high and you deactivate CNS with u-opioid, the absolute worst can happen and I'm not talking about a panic attack, I'm talking about the myelin coming off your nerves, requiring 1 day to repair every 2mm of nerve portion. You don't want that shit to happen to you, don't ever use dedicated serotonin agents for amphetamine binge comedown.

The way this will happen is, say, take the first of this month:

- 1 October, 150mg amphetamine binge until 10pm (skip night of Oct 1)
- 2 October, 50mg Ultram 2x-3x (pain gone, no issues) (night sleep)
- 3 October, (night sleep)
- 4 October, 150mg amphetamine binge until 10pm (skip night of Oct 4)
- 5 October, 50mg Ultram 2x-3x (pain gone, no issues) (night sleep)
- 6 October, (night sleep)
- 7 October, 150mg amphetamine binge until 10pm (skip night of Oct 7)
- 8 October, 50mg Ultram 2x-3x (pain gone, no issues) (night sleep)
- 9 October, (night sleep)

people always say not to take tramadol w/ stimulants (same w/ darvocet/propoxyphene), and I certainly know it's true.
but I've been prescribed both tramadol and darvocet while also prescribed 100mg vyvanse. I asked both the doctor prescribing the painkillers and my psychiatrist prescribing the vyvanse about the seizure risk, and they both just poo-pooed me.
man, doctors sometimes.

but yeah, don't take tramadol (or propoxyphene) w/ or shortly after stimulants.

Holy shit is this for real? where did you get your info? You happen to have any sources or any journal articles? That sounds truly fucked up indeed. Thank god I've never had any Tramadol laying around when doing amp/m-amp. Are the risks increased with methamphetamine?

I can't belive my first post hit the popular listing on the home page! I understand your concern and appreciate it, but you should understand I tread lightly.. I'll take 1 or 2 tramadol on the rare circumstance then a get a headache from a comedown, And I rarely get a headache.. I only take stims once or twice a month and always cut myself off before I hit 48 hours without sleep. If I took it the way you suggested then yeah that would be super dangerous. But I'm not on 150mg of adderal every other day, life would be a living hell

Barbiturates and Opioids make you feel better during a stimulant comedown. OP, you shouldn't in any way be surpirsed by the fact that these drugs made you feel good. They;re both highly recreational, highly addictive drugs, prone to misuse for their ability to make people feel great. Butalbital itself is heavily regulated and almost always requires separate, intense monitoring by the prescribing physician, due solely to the fact that Barbiturates are so highly sought after by those who know them.

Then you're good, your serotonin doesn't stack. You really need a chronic abuse schedule like that for problems to occur.

Nobody studies drug abuse in such detail. It happened to me and I also found 2 similar cases, both were viewing porn on amphetamines. That week I ran out of codeine and used tramadol. Serotonin from porn and tramadol stacked pretty fast and gave little to no warning.
 
I was toward the end of a 24 hour methylphenidate binge, probably 300 mg over that time. I had a bad headache, likely from several alcoholic drinks a few hours earlier. I was very "gakked" feeling way overstimmed. I don't know why I decided to take tramadol for the headache, but I took 100 mg. I was AMAZED at how it normalized me, all the gakked out feeling was completely gone, mood completely stabilized. I have always remembered it. Opiates help yes, but the serotonin aspect of tram probably played a big role i have always thought. Later I read what a dumb thing it was to do, but holy crap it was amazing what it did. I've taken Kratom and had similar, but less pronounced positive effects. Probably not good to take that during a stim binge either.
 
The brother complains that he gets really bad headaches after his amphetamine binge and he takes Ultram to combat the headache. Every pain signal is a request from your body to you, and in this particular case, with your particular usage pattern and according to everything I know about you, your pain signal is telling you 2 things:

1) Give me dopamine - 90% of the signal
2) Give me water because I need to vasodilate - 10% of the signal

And, you're able to notice that if you take a nice dose of Adderall, the headache subsides as though you had taken Ultram. See, nowhere does your body ask you "give me Tramadol". Tramadol turns the volume down, allows you to silence the request and ignore it. However, there's many reasons why you should not ignore requests like that:

- the following headaches will only get worst and tramadol will not be enough to relieve it.
- if you keep ignoring the request for water and dopamine, the absolute worst can occur down the road.

I get that it works and, because you do it occasionally it's not a problem but it's a bad habit down the road.
 
Heed Ksa's and other people's warnings. Yes, it is a known thing that all downers, be they opioids, benzos, barbs, or muscle relaxants, can ease a stim comedown. I'd say tramadol is the worst option among those due to it being the sole substance among these that has serotonergic activity.

Use just about any other drug from those classes. Not tramadol. I prefer xanax, since you can take a small amount (assuming no tolerance, 1.0-0.5mg can knock you out from a stim comedown).

Flush the trams. They're worthless, and anyways, your tolerance to it will rise quickly. You will soon note diminishing returns.

haha I read the news statement in a Nancy grace voice.. I was aware they all work well, but Barbs are really rare to find in my area, and I had never heard of Fioricet before. I think it's chemical combo has a good balance effect.. But I'm gonna reah for some Oxy and orange juice everytime if I can
