Hello everyone! I wanted to post to introduce myself and share my experiences broadening my horizons.
Up until a few months ago I had never tried ecstasy, in fact I was pretty hesitant to go down that path of "experimenting" with new substances as I had been out of college for 2 years now and had a steady job. I figured my window of opportunity for trying that sort of thing had already closed. It took repeated nudging from a friend I trust and respect to finally convince me to go for it.
We were going to a house show in SF which I wasn't actually very excited about. I had been pretty close minded when it came to electronic music, dismissing "techno" as something I wasn't into without ever actually giving it a try. We ended up taking a couple hits of molly and once I started rolling at the show and that wave of euphoria hit me it was like nothing I'd ever experienced. The positive vibes of all the people at the show, the interconnectedness I felt with everyone, the awesome conversations I shared with my friends, and the way the music felt that night I'll never forget. That night changed my life.
Flash forward to last night. I had done molly 2 times at 2 other shows since my first show and we were back in SF for for another show, Axwell, with most of the same friends from my first go. The show was AMAZING, the energy was on a completely different level, it was almost a base animal electricity vibe is the I can think to describe it. Last night was by far my favorite show experience, Axwell was still playing at 4:30 am when my friends had to drag me off the dance floor because they wanted to leave.
I think one thing I love about doing molly and going to these shows is that its a much needed release from my corporate day in day out grind. It may have taken me awhile to join the party but I'm here now.
