I've been lurking for years, then joined but started posting using my real name, but was too scared to change it. Transitioning to long term disability as of tomorrow, so I figured I might as well come out as me
57 and have been smoking weed for 32 years, doing mushrooms for 5 and Acid for about 2 years. And benzo's, barbituates, downers, tranquilizers and sedatives forever. I've worked as a lab tech for close to 30 years, the last 20 of which was working in an Animal Science Department, the last 4 years of which killed me because I had to euthanize hundreds of animals with CO2 (a disgustingly barbaric practice, but one which I was ordered to do by a superior). That caused PTSD. The lab work (gas chromatography) was fun.
Other than my kidney's not working, I was diagnosed recently with autism spectrum disorder (mild Asperger's)by my psychiatrist. It's just a label. I'm now getting shoved off to long term disability and look forward to smoking weed full time.
Prior to Animal Science, I was a tech in human Pharmacology for over 7 years, running HPLC toxicology on blood/urine/stool samples, so I would always try to keep my mouth shut when someone asked if drug tests can be beaten.
I am Canadian, somewhat overly polite and am definitely headed to Las Vegas March 31-April 8 to watch the men's world curling and smoke a shitton of weed, etc and cheer on Canada.
I believe very strongly in HR. I hate baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, bowling, hockey and non Canadian football. Only sports I'll watch are curling, Canadian football and politics
