My Mylan Fentanyl Experience, Thoughts, & Questions...(100ug/hr Duragesic Generic)

**First i just wanted to say that i spent the last 3 hours on bluelight pulling up old threads from '03-'06 regarding the use, misuse, and abuse of fentanyl transdermal systems from name brand (Duragesic) to near name brand (Durogesic) to the "at best" generic (Mylan).**
Id like to give you my experience to help you (the readers of bluelight) become further educated and learn more about the use and abuse of fentanyl transdermal systems. I decided to try for the first time fentanyl transdermal system. The only thing available was the 100ug/hr generic patch from Mylan. (^Read below for my background regarding prior use and tolerance of opioids.) Frankly i was afraid it wasnt going to be enough. But since i never experimented with this before and reading several posts/topics regarding fentanyl patches i decided to wear it. I put the patch on at midnight exactly sunday night/monday morning. I began to feel the effects of simply wearing a 100ug/hr fentanyl patch at around 3-4hrs after onset. From wake up time (6am) to late evening (9pm) i felt definitely satisfied and a suddle opiate buzz. I chose to skip (for the first time) my MMT dose and i don't regret it at all. I was perfectly fine throughout the day, infact a slight bit high. After around 20hrs of onset (2 hrs ago from writing this i began to feel a decrease in buzz and a return of the usual pain). Even though these patches are 72hrs, in my opinion nothing lasts as long as it says (especially OxyContin but thats a whole different topic). From reading the posts & the PDR for the Mylan Fentanyl Patch, most patients need to redose after 48hrs or in otherwords the effects are nill post ~48-50hrs. Now my time was only about half of that, but i felt what i felt and believing that it wasnt going to get much better than that (certainly not anywhere near what one would consider "high" or "nodding"), i decided it was time to explore new methods. If this was it for me and i totally fucked the patch and ruined everything, up to this point it was a good to very good experience, definitely worth the 65$ dollars (since the amount that i would have to take converted to oxycodone over a period of 20 hrs to feel what i felt would be about 400-650mg oxycodone or 5-8 OxyContin 80mg pills).
So i continue to read on Bluelight on what to do. KTX49's posts were great especially the one about important info regarding mylan patches. I concluded the even though most people hate these (as they have no gel and seem abuse resistant/proof) a lot of people do say that chewing them/or placing them sublingual DO infact work. I even read about posters who chewed/sublingual abused pre-used patches. Obviously this was my only route to take. Assuming the patch was a little less than half done 20hrs of 48hrs total (dont buy into the 72hr claim). I pealed off and cut exactly one half of the patch. Roughly doing the math here, the patch was about half done and i took half the patch sublingual chewed (left the other half on my skin as not to waste it if i take it off) thats comes out to 25% of the total patch in my mouth or 25ug/hr or total of ~2.5mg fentanyl. (These patches say they contain total 10.20mg fentanyl). After about 15 minutes of onset since putting in mouth i feel pretty high and as i type this its been 30 minutes and the high has increased. (Ill post back later to fill in the gaps of the total feeling of what it was like). The questions...
1) Im having a difficult time in converting oral oxycodone to sublingually/chewed fentanyl from a patch. Now obviously this is going to be a very rough estimate as no one knows for sure how much im actually absorbing in my system from 1/2 used patch, how much of the patch was left before taking it off, and the bioavailiability of sublingual/chewed/partially swallowed fentanyl. I would like to know what this dose of fentanyl (roughly & taken in the manner and amount i mentioned)of oxycodone it would be equal to? Or if you want to answer a fresh 25ug/50ug/75ug/100ug sublingual/chewed patch would be equal to in oxycodone thats fine too.
2) What should i do (or do in the future) with the other half of the patch, leave it on me so it stays fresh but also continues to decrease in fentanyl content? Store it somehow etc...
3) I wouldnt mind spending 2X65$ for 2-3 days of bliss considering that would be like 1,000$ in oxycodone to feel like this...for 2 100ug patches and apply them at the same time but in different areas of the body. I read on the PDR the equvialent conversion daily dose from morphine (or any other opioid) to fentanyl transdermal system up to 300ug/hr in 25ug/hr increments. So are they implying you can wear up to 300ug/hr at once through multiple patches? Is wearing >1 patch OK even if it totals less than 100ug/hr? And does anyone have any experience with doing such? (If anyone wants the Mylan PDR pm me.)
4) Its 2007 now, i was reading posts from 2003. Has anyone found better ways (than just chewing/sublingual) to abuse Mylan patches?
^Opioid history/tolerance. Using opioids since 2003. Up to now......~100mg to feel OK/decent, 150-180mg to feel high as a kite, never went beyond 180mg at once (oxycodone). On MMT daily for 1.5 months started at 30mg quickly went up to 70mg at 90mg right now...been at 90mg for 2 weeks. Used exactly 80mg oxycodone at 1:00pm Sunday, 90mg Methadone 3:00pm Sunday. Placed Generic Duragesic (Mylan patch) on at midnight Sunday night or 9 hours later after Methadone dose (and yes it still worked, did not block the effects!)
