you seem to follow me everywhere..

i've tried to set you free yet you still return..

when i first got you i knew i didn't want to keep you..

i found a way to release you, but yet you came back..

when i'm having fun, you are still there, but hide in the corner...

when i'm alone, you come and sit on my lap..

whispering thoughts into my ears..

i leave town, but you are always there, waiting to greet me..

i've tried not to feed you, yet you still find a way to keep yourself healthy, living off my scraps..

when i'm in love, you hide away, only occasionally returning to sew doubt in my mind..

i've told you time and time again:

i don't want you.
i don't need you.
you have no place in my life.

depression- please, just go home.

oh muzby. :(

i love the way your fun loving personality still shines through in the style and language of this poem, but at the same time it is incredibly poignant and sad.

i really think depression is an affliction that most intelligent and creative people find difficult to escape at least once in their lives. i hope you find out how to make yourself feel better soon. :\

Very clever way of looking at depression, its like unwanted company that we just cant get rid of!

when i'm in love, you hide away, only occasionally returning to sew doubt in my mind

ugh, dont it just...

Wow. This could have been about so many things... when i got to the end i was actually suprised.

Well written, and well thought out. I am sure most people can relate.

*hugs* :)
