My klonpin just dont do it anymore

Ive been prescribed clonazepam for some time now. About 7yrs. It seems to only have a sedative effect and lower effect on relieving anxiety. Though other benzodiazepines work well and can catch a buzz. I remember taking 15mg and not getting any euphoria. Taking it now as prescribed except once in a while and even with a lower tolerance seems cannot catch one. Though like said if take just a 3 mg of xanax will have more effect than several klonpin.
Its kinda a bitch because the doc won't switch me to another benzo.

If you switched to xanax then you would soon find yourself unable to catch a buzz from that either. Also it's not a good benzo to take regularly since the short half-life causes too many ups and downs, and you have to take it more often to keep from withdrawing.

Are you just looking for a buzz, or something that is more effective for your anxiety?
 
Klonopin is not meant to get you buzzed. It's still relieving your anxiety and sedating which is what it's prescribed for. You can switch to another benzo and before long, you will have the same effects after some time.
 
Yeah I really encourage you not to try to get high on benzodiazepines. Its easy to form a strong dependence and the withdrawal is up there with the worst.
 
Klonopin does have a short life unlike lorazapam adivan but it does seem like u got a tolerence there bud 7 years long ass time be care full wen u start to w/d its a bitch and in your case its gonna be a challenge be safe
 
Im having the same issue. 4 mg a day..which used to be 6 mg a day..I took 16 mg the other night...dozed off a little bit and that is it. Took TWENTY one mg etizolam tonight and felt NOTHING. I am soooooooooooooooooo sick of not feeling SHIT off any benzos it is RIDICULOUS.
