my ketamine melted in my pocket

Means it is significantly cut with a compound that has a low melting point, like maybe some kind of sugary chemical... or an entirely different product altogether.

What kind of a dose do you need to take to get a fair effect? If you haven't tested it yet I would very seriously consider dumping it and complaining to your source.

i did about a 50 mg bump and it hit me like k should it burned more then usual but not too bad

i also talked to my source and they said this has happend to them and not to worry. i trust my source iv know him most of my life.

I'm sure quite a lot of people trust their source, but not every source is knowledgeable, not by a long shot. So you can't rely on other people's assurance like that, it's nothing personal... it doesn't mean someone is purposefully trying sell you lies.

I was considering that maybe if it stings more but works it's the freebase, but even that doesn't melt at temperatures lower than 92 degrees centigrade (near the boiling temperature of water).

The simple and essential fact is that ketamine HCl does not melt at regular temperatures, your product did. Ergo: it is not pure ketamine or it is not ketamine.

Who can say if you ever had pure ketamine? Can you? For example from cooked vials?
If not, maybe you are not able to tell what 50 mg should feel like. Even if you do, it's hard to gauge this precisely... but at least it makes it unlikely that the K is cut to an insane extent. If it is only slightly cut then perhaps it did not melt after all but instead attracted water from being hygroscopic. I'm not sure how the water got in your baggy or seal though.

Are you sure it was not MXE, cut to make the dose correspond with the dosage for K?

It's mysterious, I'll give you that.
