ive had so many horses i bet ive missed some....in fact shit, saying that - i missed Dink! (oops)
oh well, i said in the entry i may hav to edit it a bit
i also want to add their fortes and their personality traits - hope i can fit them in!

ocean - Sweet P has met Apache...she took some photos of us together, theyre on facebook (hes the patchy brown/white horse who looks like he stepped out of a western film) if u wanna check them out!
sadly, last time i went riding was wen i went down to the lodge wiv Keira and rode Apache down there - Keira even made a movie of us doing dressage - just working him on the bit at a working trot then lengthening his strides and asking for a bit of leg-yield/shoulder-in

if u miss riding u shud do it again, hun! maybe if u ever come to NZ, hit me up and ill make sure u get a ride on Maverick...hes a real treat

yea i guess im a bit of a motherly type

quite sad cos im infertile

ive bn lucky having a family involved in horses - who stepped back and made me do all the work so i didnt become a typical 'pony club brat'

i bought all my own horses (except Buck - i was 2 wen i had him!)
first horse i bought to do pony club on was Minty - he was $50!
we r not rich lol

some, my cuz gave to me, as wen we left the ranch where Mum was breeding using Laddie, wen i was 4 (we then kept Laddie in a paddock down in south Auckland and Mum bought Babe and Tazzie to breed to him straight off, as wed moved to west Auckland) and he (my cuz) took over the horse-breeding, breeding, like Mum, horses that were to b gd stockhorses as we had cattle, sheep and deer and it was a hunting lodge

we moved up to Auckland partly cos my parents marriage was already going to shit and Dad hated horses, plus I was a sickly kid who kept ending up in hospital wiv asthma and we were 40km from the closest hospital (a small-town hospital - I had to b flown into a further hospital by helicopter a few times)
Laddie was replaced wiv my cuzs paint stallion Rio Grande ('Rio') who left his stable temperament on his progeny, plus his cow sense, his beautiful colouring (a paint horse is a pinto-coloured quarter horse - pintos r coloured wiv white patches) and ability to move beautifully in the Western version of dressage - reining
Rio died 2 yrs ago wen he got his hoof caught in a deer fence and panicked
