My best mate is on Suboxone so being the curious soul I am i thought i would try some. I snorted half a dose (which from memory was 12mg??), and waited half an hour with no results. Snorted the rest and waited another 30 mins, when it started to kick in. At about the 2 hour mark I was well and trully opiate-ed... comparable to Tramadol and Oxycodone although a little less euphoric. It was pleasant enough although i was surprised when at the 5 hour mark it showed no sign of tapering off. I figured sleep would take care of it so i took some sleepers and slept for 10 or so hours.
BUT! When i got up the next morning is was STILL JUST AS TRASHED as when i had gone to bed!! REALLY quite intoxicated!! And further to that it lasted all fricken day!!! By this time I was REALLY sick of being smashed and just wanted to be sober again, especially since it was Sunday and i had work the next day. Anyway i struggled through the day doing benign things which was about all i was capable of and went to sleep again, praying it would wear off overnight.
Woke up Monday morning, and OH NO JESUS IM STILL TRASHED!!! This was 2 days after taking the stuff. So I called in sick to work and again spent the day in a hazy opiate-ish state. By the end of the day it had started to abate a little bit which was promising. Eventually slept again
Work up on day four of the experience still feeling quite distorted, but able to function and think again, so i went to work and kept my head down. By the end of the day I was finally back to normal.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?! I basic dose, intra-nasally, fucked me for 3 whole days! yeah initially pleasant, but NOT for that long! it was horrible!!!!
Has anyone else had or heard of this level of reaction?? I am allergic to Codeine if that makes any difference. Oxycodone and Tramadol affect me normally and wear off when they are supposed to.
I was worried for a while there that i had finally gone too far and that id never sober up! Phew! Anyone?
