Heroin My god, what the hell...I swear I almost died a few minutes ago.

I prepped a few points of the same H I've been using for the past few days. No problems with it before. In the past, if I miss a bit I will get hives of varying severity up the arm along the vein but they go away in about half an hour.

I did my shot as usual. After a few seconds, my face started to itch a bit. Then my face and neck rapidly grew very hot ad itchy/pinprick pain to the point where it felt like my face was on fire. I was starting to have trouble breathing and beginning to panic. Fortunately, I happened to have a vial of IV Benadryl on hand and I did as much of it as I could while shaking, which as a rapidly acting antihistamine might well have saved my life. When I looked in the mirror, I had hives and redness all over my face, neck and shoulders. My cheeks are still warm now. Then it rapidly faded and I calmed down, but what the hell could have caused this anaphylactic reaction?? It was the same dope I had used earlier today. It was a high amount, and I already felt a touch off before that, so I'm guessing my body was already sensitive to the cutting agent and then just went all out after that last shot. Very scary.

Sounds like an allergic reaction all right. That Benadryl (and your quick thinking) no doubt saved your life. Glad you' re still with us! Please get rid of that batch.
 
That's really weird. I have no knowledge of the subject and really can't think of a reason from the same batch. You're lucky you had IV diphenhydramine though.
 
Could have been unreacted morphine but if you really feel like you were in danger perhaps even unreacted codeine which leads to far more serious consequences when IV'ed (pulmonary edema among others).
 
Seems like your dope contains mostly morphine, this has happened to me too a couple of times and it can be really uncomfortable for a few seconds. High doses of IV morphine can cause this type of histamine reaction.
 
Well I cautiously did some of the same stuff this morning, and nothing at all happened. No reaction whatsoever. It feels like my body was just under a lot of stress with the frequent injections yesterday, and was just like hell no when I did that.
 
Sounds like a histamine reaction... Probally was some morphine in there, which if you are not familiar with catch you off guard. The rush is prickly , hot, itchy, and intense.A large shot will make you itch so intensely during the rush . 100 mg shots of morphine sulphate was so strong I had to sit down sometimes from the itching alone. Often my body got very red for a few minutes, mostly in the face. It is very different from heroin, and kinda hurts but in a good way.

I think you got caught off guard by the morphine and started to panic, thinking something bad was happening. Did you get any big itchy raised patches of skin that lasted about an hour ?

This happened to me when I would drink white grapefruit the night before with oxy and the morning shot of dope made me itch so bad it was painful right after shot, then fade after a minute. Also happens in dope with higher levels of morphine/6MAM. If you're familiar with a different opiate, the morphine IV rush is extremely itchy, intense, and feels like pressure in neck or head and skin

So, different kind of dope, maybe got water in it at some point(making it morphine-y), or your enzymes are changed up for some reason, maybe ate a potentiator without knowing
 
Sounds like more than a normal histamine reaction from too much morph. I'm sensitive to unreacted shit in my dope. This reaction is overboard for an experienced user as there generally IS some morph/6mam in there. I used to get my whole arm swollen but I habituated. That's why this sounds odd. I stil get hives all over and swollen red patches around the miss and up the arm a bit but goes away in 30m and no shaking certainly. Avoid reupping this batch. Sell what u got or if you must do it avoid high doses. Keep IV antihistamine on hand. U sound like ur lucky and reacted quick to save urself. Always try a small amount of new shit so u don't OD or have something weird happen due to a cutting agent like this ...

Edit- oh and make sure it's not ur guy who's stepping on it with this stuff that bothers you (maybe they trying a new cut?!) so tell them what happened so they know they Will kill someone & in that case WIlL end up in jail, eventually. If u know more of ur dealers regular custies, ask if they noticed... Also look at color/texture/rate of dissolution of different parts of the shot (diff cuts dissolve fast or slow, like sugar is slow so u can see how much of the point was sugar before that gets heated in but after the test dissolves, so u kno how much of a particular cut there was... I learned wat sugar and lactose and other shit look like when dissolving so I recogniz them immediately upon tossing my dope in water for example) for consistent cuts
