My Girl Just Signed A Pain Management Contract

Back in the 2000-2010's we had the 80% #4 from NYC with morphine sulfate crystal for cut. I know about pushing the limits
What a kickass cut, reminds me of people who roll their cannabis flower in rosin and crushed up diamonds, then smoke that all together. Best part is learning to get the cherry to exist in this weird halfway point where you get the right temp for both to vaporize in unison, and then just rip.

Btw, is your beef with 7-OH that it doesn't work, or it just doesn't feel good? If it's the former, get pure crystal and smoke that shit. By god, it beat smoking Dilaudid.

My lady just got changed from Gabapentin to Pregabalin. The doc made her sign a pain management contract. My state (Ohio) does not require this contract for Lyrica (Pregabalin), but some docs choose to do it.
It has that pesky line about "not using illegal drugs". She uses pot to help manage her pain.
I know, pot is still federally illegal, I get that. (It's not specifically called out in the agreement like with a gun form) Pot is legal in Ohio now.

Does anyone have any input or experience? Ohio preferred, but any state. Does she have to worry if she keeps up with the edibles?
Real life experience or data if you please. I know that technically pot is federally illegal. I get it. I'm looking for actual data or experience, not "playing it safe" or "harm reduction". I've already told her that I did not know how strictly they would do this with a schedule V drug.
Ok. Firstly, if she's "your lady" why did you let her be in situation why any doc "made her" sign anything?!?

She went to a new doc to go to an edema reduction clinic and get changed from Gabapentin to Pregabalin at the advice of her surgery doc. She came home and told me she's signed the contract.

She's naive to the drug culture, but having pain from getting older and surgeries. She likes a gummy at bedtime. I've taken it upon myself to be her pharmacist, naturally.

She was a librarian before she retired and looks it. I don't think she has a lot to worry about but, especially after reading the responses, can't just tell her "don't worry". I hate that.

I'm telling her to go back on Gabapentin, that Pregabalin ain't that much better. But, as said, she's naive and trusting. We live in a legal state, does anyone have any input on that? I wish I could do a visit for her and casually ask if occasional legal consumption is a problem.

eh... my dad failed a drug test for weed in a legal state and lost oxys, but that's a different drug, so i have no idea... maybe it's a similar thing to sign or something at some level though.... i generally wouldn't have too much hope it's going to go how you want... maybe she could get a med card? might want to check about that. they might be more lenient to prescribe meds with that. i hear you can get them for insomnia and stuff pretty easy.

i would probably talk to the doctor about it unless you think she won't be able to get the meds she was getting before.. also maybe seeing another doctor as commented.

i was kind of second guessing if weed was legal when my dads oxys were cancelled so i did a search whether it's legal to use oxys and weed in my state and in mass there's the "medical marijuana act" which makes it so only qualified patients and that's with oxycontin, so you may want to research about a medical marijuana card... she'll probably end up getting the money it costs to get the card back with discounts at the dispo if it's like my state.

It works less each time I take it. I will have to try the pure crystal b/c I would need a stronger version.

My tolerance and dependence to opioids is too high.

Interesting, it may still be worthwhile to try via other RoAs or dosage ranges, and then consider building up some backstock. I always remind people, if you're working with say, a 63% extract, and you want 20mg, you need to do (20/0.63) to adjust for the potency, meaning you'd need ~31.7460317 (I'd just round to 32 or so given my scale) milligrams of 63% extract to get 20mg of 7-OH, exclusively. Many people even who have been pressing these gas station/smoke shop tablets do not seem to acknowledge this and I have no idea as to why.

My niece and I are interested in picking up the high purity stuff you recommended to me. I am creating a back-up stock of my meds and other meds I find useful.

Portland also decriminalized plant-derived psychedelics, you can buy psilacetin gummies with the doses labeled and all there, it's quite neat.

I’ll have to look at the statute on that and see if poppy can fall under it.

There’s nod dreams and I actually get CEVs when hitting an IV shot so the opioids could be argued to legally be psychedelic because that is such a broad and unspecific term.

I have heard this too with people not even taking it that frequently and certainly not in high dosages all PO
I have tried a handful of different commercial brands and the only brand I found to work as intended is Opia. I know a few other people that feel the same way and they have tried more brands. Yeah Opia is the only brand I trust. I am going to order the high purity powder and give it a whirl.

Opia hey don't love the name but they are all pretty damaging to the scene lol. Yea I am also looking to backstock the things I need long-term and thinkin about ordering the powder.

A pain management contract for pregabalin? This isn’t even a real drug for fucks sake.

Fuck that doctor find a new one before you waste more of your time.

The ONLY thing that will come of this is that doctor putting a scarlet letter on your girlfriends chart for violating this bullshit contract and she’ll never get a script again

So a doctor that will contract you for pregabalin….FORGET about ever getting a real narcotic no
Matter how bad your gf gets. This is a doctor that will never prescribe a narcotic to any patient no matter what.

For reference I get opioids and benzos and have never had to sign no such bullshit contract.
I was about to say wtf ! A contract for pregabalin !! That’s so insane
