My Girl Just Signed A Pain Management Contract

My lady just got changed from Gabapentin to Pregabalin. The doc made her sign a pain management contract. My state (Ohio) does not require this contract for Lyrica (Pregabalin), but some docs choose to do it.
It has that pesky line about "not using illegal drugs". She uses pot to help manage her pain.
I know, pot is still federally illegal, I get that. (It's not specifically called out in the agreement like with a gun form) Pot is legal in Ohio now.

Does anyone have any input or experience? Ohio preferred, but any state. Does she have to worry if she keeps up with the edibles?
Real life experience or data if you please. I know that technically pot is federally illegal. I get it. I'm looking for actual data or experience, not "playing it safe" or "harm reduction". I've already told her that I did not know how strictly they would do this with a schedule V drug.

A pain management contract for pregabalin? This isn’t even a real drug for fucks sake.

Fuck that doctor find a new one before you waste more of your time.

The ONLY thing that will come of this is that doctor putting a scarlet letter on your girlfriends chart for violating this bullshit contract and she’ll never get a script again

So a doctor that will contract you for pregabalin….FORGET about ever getting a real narcotic no
Matter how bad your gf gets. This is a doctor that will never prescribe a narcotic to any patient no matter what.

For reference I get opioids and benzos and have never had to sign no such bullshit contract.

I can echo this, I'm from a state where overdose deaths during the pill mills were anomalously on par with Appalachia, but even after not filling my scripts for Dilaudid and Lorazepam for 7 years, they still pushed me to get back on them. In addition, the state had stopped carrying promethazine because it was "overly abused", which I found ridiculous.

1). What a tragic waste of dilauded.

2) see promethazine is talked about in rap music and dilauded and fentanyl aren’t. So promethazine is a harder drug that must be banned. We are governed by fucking retards. Especially in your state.

The doc will likely cut her off the pregabalin if she fails a drug test for weed. Assuming the doc doesn't specifically condone her weed use. Does the doctor know she uses edibles?

The doc will cut her off when some remedially educated moron trying to run a mass spectrometer under high stress and doesn’t know the first fucking thing about them fucks up the test and she tests positive for qualuudes or MDEA or whatever retarded shit they are also testing for

Idk, Maine's governance I get down with pretty hard. LePage I have some significant beef with, but I see him moreso as an echo of trauma than anything else. I personally hear rappers brag about fentanyl constantly, the first one that comes to mind is from Don't Be Gone by Hit-Boy & The Alchemist, "I built a underground safe just to store the fetty, slipping in the darkness, some fans thought it was sorta petty, how I made observations and broke the game down"

Oh I thought you were talking about Florida. Lepage is the guy that wanted to ban narcan and charge doctors that tried to save ppl with narcan that still died with murder right? One of the biggest pieces of shit I’ve ever heard of that guy.

Yea fetty is showing up in rap music but it’s new and no where near as ubiquitous as poromethazine and codiene, lean etc,

I wouldn’t say I hear it often. I’m pretty shcocked fentanyl hasn’t been banned from medical use tbh. Just based off its street reputation

Yes Indeed.

PICC line & Gear... Two of my favorite things

Never had a pick line but I always liked finding around for a new place to hit. The penetration of the skin. The registering. It’s a whole ritual.

My veins show every where easy so it was easy not to blow out all my viens. Never ending supply of hand feet arm and lower leg viens to hit

Yeah, I'm from Maine but have spent my adult life on-and-off in Florida, few years for college, then moved down ~6 months ago to be closer to the parents and start getting a little homestead set up out here in the sticks near my extended family.

LePage is a tremendous piece of shit, his press statement about how black men named things like "Shiftie", "Smoothie", and "D-Money" come to Maine to impregnate our young white women and sell dangerous drugs cracked me up, a local rapper (Spose) made a pretty good remix of it. LePage is comically racist, to the point that I'd crack up upon hearing what he said and just respond with "There's no way an elected official actually just said that shit", only to expereience a state of horror upon verifying that it was real.

The craziest part of all of that, was that while he was targeting a small handful of non-white folks trafficking things in the state (Maine is over 99% white, our racial tensions are French <-> Irish up until the 70's), the Triads were establishing multiple networks of hundreds of distributed cannabis grows in the state, fueling almost the entirety of the east coast's black market cannabis supply and plummeting the cost of cannabis in Maine. I was buying $150-$300 ounces of lab tested, dispo quality concentrates ranging from live rosin to white diamonds to hash, anything, it's a wonderful place for a cannabis enthusiast.

For the longest time too before there was a process to set up a caretaker's license, you could grow 120 plants per person, a third in veg, a third in flower, and a third as seedlings. Nowadays I think it's 18 total, split into thirds similarly. It's how I could do things like legally run a personal 28 plant grow for my roommate and I at the time in a spare bedroom. Portland also decriminalized plant-derived psychedelics, you can buy psilacetin gummies with the doses labeled and all there, it's quite neat.

PICC line syringes are huge and can hold 4 Roxi 30's and a few Ativan. They can be pushed fast which is another bonus compared to standard insulin syringes. I had a PICC line for 55 days and honestly I miss it. Drawing blood is a nightmare on my arms. If I am admitted to the hospital they call the ultrasound nurse with big tits to put an IV on the inside of my upper arm.

I've had PICCs for months at a time before when I was living in the hospital, it fucking blows for the most part to only eat through an IV. I was chewing baby toys and shit just so my teeth wouldn't fall out of my head, because it turns out, that happens if you don't use them. Didn't know that until they were all getting loose on me as a teenager. I guess it'd be good for drug use, but I just got things through the normal IV at that time, midazolam, oxycodone, ketamine, etc., and the epidural ofc used fentanyl, it was from a little bit above where my bellybutton once was, and down that the epidural was active. I spent a total of ~16 months hospitalized, in periods ranging from 6 weeks to 4 months.

I’ve injected 6 roxi 30s in a 2 ml syringe.

I had a friend that did 10 dilaudid 8s in 2 ml syringe

That sucks you spent that much time in the hospital. Though I like being at the hospital for surgeries and procedures, it is the only time I get good pain relief. When I go in I already have a staggering Rx schedule of narcotics, alpha2, Benzo, sedative/hypnotics, and anti-histamines, so the Anesthesiologist and doctors typically go above and beyond with their treatment plans. I love Inapsine, Haldol, Versed, Clondine, and Dilaudid IV infusions with Promethazine IM. It is like vacation and the nurses trip out bringing me meds every 2hrs. They call me the "whole patient" and say "how can you stay awake on all this"... lol. Just keep bringing party bitches and increase the Dilaudid. When they bring me my Roxi 30's I pretend to swallow them them spit them in my sheets and snort them when they leave.

You would love PICC line syringes the smallest are 10ml. I fixed a 20ml syringe with 150mg Roxi, 24mg Dilaudid, and 3mg Ativan a few times. I am not about burning up all my narcotics. I can't fuck up my Rx's. I got pain and dependence to treat. I am not about the Fetty and 7-OH life.

Back in the 2000-2010's we had the 80% #4 from NYC with morphine sulfate crystal for cut. I know about pushing the limits

This an old press release? makes sense because they were trafficking heroin...now days that's impossible unless you're the Mexican cartel.
yeah it is from 2011. My area had more dope than you could shake a stick at. The fact they busted 32 dealers and arrested them all in two days speaks volumes for how bad the feds were gunning to do something about the issue.
