Dunno if this belongs here, just wanted to say be carefull.

He had been using it for 7 or 8 years. I used to use a lot with him.
Just took too much and died. He was careless.
He was also 38, generous, sucessfull, left behind a lot of gutted people, including his partner of 9 years.
Don't forget the people that you will leave behind when you use drugs wrecklessly.

I hope that if anything good comes of this, people can see this and maybe reconsider their own use and the risks they are taking.
 
My condolences to you and all involved during what must be a very difficult time.

Remember folks, GBL and the other variants on the market can be VERY dangerous.

As with any drug with a fairly dose responsive OD pattern, that is usually linked to recklessness (i mean between Heroin and G, it takes a fair whack to kill you on its own)..

Very sorry to hear this, perhaps armed with greater knowledge, or a friend in attendance - they might have lived. Sad story.
 
I hope that something positive can come from this.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Could someone post any idea how large a dose of G would have to be to make it lethal. Just so if someone comes to this thread, they can aim, and is taking G, they can aim well below it.

Sorry to hear your loss Middleway, I hope you and the others close to him are doing OK...

Do you have any idea if he combined it with anything else or what dose he was taking so that other people can be aware of what to combine with GBL and what doses are safe.

I've always been told 2-2.5mL for medium/normal sized males and only 1-1.5mL for females, (of pure GBL of course).

People should be aware that GBL is not a drug the inexperienced should mess around with and if you are going to dance with the devil on this one, somebody who is completely straight and knows what to do in an emergency should be present. A lot of the time you'll just have a 'G nap' but the difference between a G nap and not waking up is very little....
 
Good one mribis on posting someone can take 20ml pure and be fine. If u want something positive to come from this tradigity, that's not the way to go about it.

Very sad story mate, and my condolences.

i remember there being a thread about gbh not so long ago, and remember someone saying "i like it because it's cheap" and i thought to myself... well you gotta be pretty young to have a mindset like that. i really fear for the young generation with cheap and nasty drugs like gbh, where even a very experienced user can accidentally have a fatal overdose.
 
Such an unpredictable drug, I've known people to take ridiculous doses of this and wake up like nothing ever happened

Condolences to u man'. Another death? Its sad but im not surprised. People who take that crap have no clue how harmful/lethal it can be. Or if u do then ur just a plain idiot.
