Heroin my friend is having like mini-seizures after shooting up.. wtf is happening?

soo really weird.. SWIM and SWIK have been using heroin for 3+ years .. and this is the first time this has ever happened. he did a shot of only about .1 and afterwards for almost 30 minutes or more he would get these weird lapses in consciousness but they were less than a second long.. i thought it was just nodding, because that happens all the time and it could be that short.. but he was literally walking, fully awake and aware, and all of a sudden he just like twitched and the glass of milk he was holding spilled everywhere, but he was still holding onto it.. and afterwards he was awake and ok but he started freaking out because it kept happening and he thought he had gotten poisoned or something... (this was yesterday) and today he called again just now and asked me to look it up online and i thought it would be best to just post it on bluelight, i use the forum alot but have never posted..

soo.. anyone have any ideas? could it be the cut? or could he just be overreacting to an intense nod? i mean i saw it and itw as quite strange but it could be understandable..
 
Are there any other symptoms at all? Is everything else in your friends life as normal as it was over the last month. Increased heart rate? Dizziness? Fever?

It sounds like it could be an effect of an adulterant, I have to assume an experienced user would be able to tell if they are nodding or not... (???)

Try to explain these lapses in consciousness better. Does everything go black? Does 'your friend' fall over or just kind of phase out?
 
sounds like your friend should have gone to ER.

Don't buy from the same source for a while.

Don't use the phrase SWIM or SWIK on bluelight, just refer to yourself as I...
 
I had something similar but i was IVing meth and was up for over a day. I was getting a blowjob, when mid way it felt like i had a lapse in consciousness while standing, then waking up with complete confusion as to where i was (my bedroom) who the fucks blowing me (my girlfriend). Probably the sleep deprivation but i'd never had it before and that was my first time IVing.

i took some liquid xanax 2 days before, i dont know if that has to do with it.. the lapses: my eyes close (blink).. its more like a body-jerking twitch.. no dizziness or fever.. maybe a little dizzy and lightheaded but not extreme.. its almost like a shivering-twitch.. i didnt fall over.. its too short to describe really.. everything doesnt go black.. and im not confused afterwards like i was unconscious.. its more like a twitch i guess
 
there's no way for us to tell what exactly is in your heroin, but its probable that an impurity is causing your distress
 
Sounds like a hypnagogic jerk, I used to get these all the time when doing high doses of opiates. Surprised you have gotten them before.
 
Dude, I wouldn't worry about it. I've gotten full blown body shake/twitch/jerk while nodding hard...haven't you seen a junky nod out then out of nowhere jerk out of it, like whhhhoaa dude I almost fell asleep there..then that process repeats for the bext few hours lol. But check it, if your buddy actually starts to have mini seizures, and you'd know the difference, as per foam or spit coming out the mouth and almost pulling muscles from the weird wasy the body is jerking, do your buddy a favor and phone ambulance, don't post on bluelight, because there's a million possibilities but a forum can't save your buddy from something that requires the ER....peace
 
^yes, while many people do jerk around, have muscle spasms, drop things etc. its always better to be safe than sorry, because seizures do occur during heroin overdoses, I have seen it with my own eyes. its always better to be safe than sorry

Thats awesome. If you can get multiple lapses during that situation it would feel like you where getting a new blow every time. Lucky guy
