Greetings to all Bluelighters. I've been lurking around here a while and finally decided to jump in. The site sure has a lot of content to offer. The Healthy Living section and Second Opinion look especially interesting I have much to learn and hope I'm able to contribute something of value here. My interests include old time radio (OTR), old time TV, old comic books both digital and hard copies, computer building and maintenance, ham radio, electronic gadgetry. I also enjoy collecting and refurbishing old briar tobacco pipes, pipe smoking which I find enjoyable and relaxing. General study of tobacco products, especially pipe blends.

Hello there, Old time radio man, I love the name. :) Welcome to Bluelight. I think you would also find Current Events and Politics, and Film & Television to be really good too.
I have always enjoyed, old briar tobacco pipes too. They are very relaxing. I love good comic books as well. What are some of the comics you have?
Also please don't hesitate to let us know if you need any help finding things around here.

Thank you for that advice. Appreciated. My interest in comic books is primarily golden age and silver age. To put that in a time frame, primarily comics prior to 1970. The older they are the better I seem to like them. As most older issues are hard to acquire and some very expensive, I find digital copies to be most enjoyable. It's one of my ways to get away from it all for a while.
