I'm happy to finally be a member of this great community. I've been using your site as a recourse for a long time now, but one specific experience made me want to register and post. This experience is a story about how me and some friends took some ecstasy that turned out not to be ecstasy at all! I'm partly posting so I you might be able to help me identify what it could've been. Since this is not really about any specific subregion of drugs, I figured I might as well post it here – feel free to correct me
Here goes the story:
Me and to good friends of mine were going out one day and decided to get some ecstasy pills for the night. We just ate 'em right away and went out to a local bar. After 1-2 hours nothing happened, so we just thought that it must've been shit or fake and after 4 hours, we decided to get some crystal ecstasy instead! Because it was kinda late we just wanted to snort is as quickly as possible so we went back to one of our places and separated the 1g of mdma in three (don't mind the huge amount, it was shit quality were we came from
) and just snorted it right away.
After about 10 minutes we all began feeling really fucking high (that great feeling of coming up on MDMA) and then all of a sudden I just had to sit down. We all sat down on a couch and then – BAM! The whole world just ripped away (I know you are starting to think ketamine and this is also my best guess. I've had some experiences on ketamine before but never k-holing so had no idea of what was happening :O) and my brain just started constructing all these situations like mind-movies, but it was like i couldn't understand what was happening, I couldn't think. My sense of time was completely fucked, and after what seemed like an eternity, I returned a little bit to the normal world, where I just tried to say something to the others. It was impossible though, my body might as well have belonged to somebody else, and when my mouth finally did speak, it wasn't at all what I intended to say. I only managed to say: "What the fuck is this drug??". You couldn't possibly imagine how it would be to be k-holing without really knowing that you where on ketamine, because your brain simply couldn't think that far. I was so confused, the only thing i could think of was to calm myself and ride it out, which was what I did.
And here comes the weird part. The experience itself was that of extreme dissociation, I was in no control of my body or my thoughts. It was extremely confusing because I didn't know what was happening (thinking back to the CIA's "experiments" with giving unknowing subjects LSD), but afterwards I was certain it was ketamine. Then i looked at the clock... Over 4 hours had passed and I ain't never heard of any ketamine trip being that long. On the other hand i have no idea how strong the effects of 0.3g ketamine up your nose would be. And certainly the crystal-powder did smell like the other ketamine I tried.
Hope you guys can help me out, and if I feel certain what drug it was, I'll definitely write a full trip-report on it. Even though it was extremely scary it also has some very funny and awesome insightful components!
