PSALM 2005: DEATH/REBIRTH
We,as humans all cry tears,
The same we share our hates and fears,
Tears of love and tears of pain,
Tears for whats found and lost again.
We fight to live,
Curse others to die,
We fight over whats beyond the sky
Is it God or is it space?
Or maybe a saccharine happy place?
Maybe we are all just fools,
Over looking lifes precious jewels
What the FUCK are we here for?
Why do we live?
Is it to take?
Or is it to give?
Are we awake?
Or in perpetual sleep?
Are our minds shallow or are they deep?
Is this all there is to life?
The joy and bliss!
The pain and strife?
Whatever we are,were all the same
And if Earth dies its us to blame.
Are we crazy or just unsane?
We will all lose what we hold dear,
Humans collapse under hate and fear,
And above us,God sheds a single tear.
And from that tear a new world was born
And new humans came to be thus formed
Without the division of gods or skin
A new race shining from within
A race that knew the concept of love
And with new strength they rose above
Old humanitys hate and fear
And with each and every passing year
New lives began,new stories were wrote
And ever grew the seeds of hope
The love that bound them was ever strong
And its to that love I write this psalm
I for one choose not to wait
For us to be crushed under historys weight
I choose to love right now,today!
And to forgot the lines of humanitys play
I will strive never to hate
To escape the darkness of our fate
I will proclaim to all who hear
The time for change is already here
Time to drop our guns and pride
And on wings of compassion we will fly
To heights the likes have never been seen
Restore mother earth to a radiant green
We will become angels like we used to be
Before we discovered money and greed
The future looms,the past is gone
And we must voice a unified song
We have to keep chasing hope and love
Till we become one with God above.
