Lying alone in my bed
Watching my chest slowly rise
Arms across my stomach
Hands tightly clenching my sides
I'm afraid

Fearing my worst enemy
Thirsting for the knife
My old friend, calling my name once more
Feeling so alone
Tasting the pain as I
Remember the blood
Flowing down my trembling wrists

No.
I’m stronger now
I don’t need you anymore
You thirst for my anger, my fear
I dream of your smile
With your blade glistening in dim light
You look so much happier,
When you’re smothered in my blood.

The scars you left for me
Will forever remind of our friendship.
But no more.
My tears have cleaned off your dirty blade.
My future is no longer yours.

another great piece sometimes realizing things out of the dark makes it barable to live through the night.

Seems like you are getting there. :)

This was exceptional...I think we can all relate to these facets in our lives...feeling like people that are supposed to care about us are just trying to run our lives...great job..

Thank you for sharing! :)
