My doctor wants to use 4X the normal dose of Propofol, will this kill me?

I only weight about 117 pounds age is between 16 & 24 (sorry I can't tell real age) and have slight tolerance to CNS depressants. I'm very worried/have a very bad feeling about the whole procedure I'm having and don't want him to kill me on accident. I looked up normal adult doses for anyone under 55 years of age, & it said "40mg" so if he's saying 4 x 40mg's I'll be doing 80mg total all at once and do not trust this dose AT ALL. I'm ready to just say no to this procedure & suck up the pain & move on, hopefully without any major problems. I take 15mg Temazepam once every night & 1 - 2mg's of Xanax, with 5mg's of hydrocodone every day once a day.

I mean. Unless my doctor was lying or I don't remember correctly, they used 200mg of Propofol on me last week wednesday for a surgery.

LD50 is also 500mg in rats for oral dosing. I don't think you have much to worry about. Tell him about the other CNS depressants you take. I was scared cuz I had taken a 30mg Diazepam dose prior to this like 2 weeks prior and he said I'd be fine. I was just worried about the active metabolites.

It's not the doc but the anesthesiologist/ anesthetist who gives the propofol. 4x is high. Were you in a previous surgery and awake after a normal amount? The anesthesiologist has tons of equipment to monitor you so normal procedure would be a standard dose and then slowly titrate upward if you weren't in the zone. Have a talk with the A. They know what they're doing ( highest paid guys in the hospital) and should be able to ease your concerns

If you're concerned about the amount they're using, have a talk with the anesthetist. Don't forget to tell them about the drugs you are currently taking so they can tell you what's allowable the night before surgery.

thank you for the advice I got my actual doctor to talk him into telling them that I can't take anything other than demoral in a nice dose. So im good now since I'll be getting that instead of some shit I've never had and don't really want to do/haven't even heard of it.
