My other cat had to be euthanized recently. We had two cats, but now there's only one left.

Losing a pet is a horrible experience and can often be worse than losing a human loved one. Please give your other cat extra love right now as I'm sure they are suffering through this loss as well. Thinking of you. 
That's a terrible thing to experience, Survival0200, I'm really sorry for your loss. I recently had a scare with my cat, Scuttlebutt; she had a large lump on her side- i was afraid it was cancer, but luckily it was an abcess, and she's responding to antibiotics.
