My Boyfriend is addticted to WoW

Hey guys! This is daisytron's boyfriend (threelibras99) and I am proud to say I have gotten over my bad ways and the sin is gone! She has shown me the light and now all I want to do and spend my time on is my baby! Not literally, but figuratively because daisy is my baby but she isn't, she's my girlfriend. So I am done with WoW and done with those sins and turning to a better light to change my ways. I smoke more now but thats okay, because my girlfriend is always by my side (so I can keep an eye on her mwuahaha) so I'd like to thank you all for your input and for showing me the light. God bless you all!!`
 
Careful, sound like you're trading one addiction for another (dropping the video games but smoking more).
 
smoking some ganj is not as bad as playing WoW for 20 hours a day imo...


i mean you can still do other shit when your high

That's good. Yes, be careful about trading one addiction for another. At least she partakes in the smoking too?

Enjoy and try to get to the point where you only need each other's company to be completely happy. I think that's the ideal.
 
HA. My husband used to be addicted to WOW before we were married. I began to get a little peeved as he began to neglect me a bit. The Fix: I never gave him crap over it because it's only a game. When it became too much, I calmly addressed the issue asking him to devote a little more time to our relationship. I didn't want my hubby to drop his fave pastime so when he asked me to join in the game with him, I did. Even tho I really didn't want to. I played his game with him and well...he became normal again. I also realized why he was so addicted to the game.
 
I hope you sold your account.. atleast make some money off of what you were addicted to ;p

Can you offer him blue or purple drops? I thought not. Someone has to grind for those loots. Poor guy is out in the fields, killing multiple mobs at once, for you and all you can do is bitch. You should out there building mail armor and shit. Not only does he have to worry about the agro, he also has to deal with hordes fucking his shit up.

Tell him to connect with reality, or you'll leave him, it's as simple as that.
 
i agree. why should someone else drop out of reality and into virtual reality just to get some time with their significant other, that is pathetic.

i try to make my hubby limit his time on, but i gave up. it isn't worth arguing over. if he is happy with his kids being more familiar with the back of his head than his front, fuckit. he is great in every other way, so i pick my battles.
 
Coming to a compromise isn't too difficult. It is just hard for women sometime to realize that they are not the center of the Universe and that us guys need to get away sometimes. I have worked out a game night so that I can play as much as I want and not be bothered by what I choose to do that she may think silly or stupid.

People picks hobbies they are good at so if its games then why is that wrong?
