Hi everyone,
I know I haven't been around here much lately, but just thought I'd let you know that my first collection of poems, How to be Hungry, is now available! :D
The book's overriding theme is desire and its offshoots: craving, aversion, addiction. As you can probably guess from the "green bomb" on the cover (see below), drugs are a major focus, and a number of the poems were originally posted on BL.
How to be Hungry also explores the darker edges (disconnection, deception, anxiety) and possibilities for navigating these (mindfulness, meditation, creativity). Along the way the reader is teleported to cafés, bars, nightclubs, parties, a rehab clinic, a psychiatric ward, a meditation hall, a golf course, beaches, offices, cities, suburbs, highways, strange interiors and various hells.
A paperback edition is available for $15.00 plus delivery, or you can download a PDF of the book for $6.00 (these prices are in US dollars).
Here's the page for the paperback version:

And here's a link to the file download:

You can also view a preview (front and back covers, plus a short selection of poems) via these Lulu pages.
Please feel free to pass this on to anyone you think might be interested.
Cheers,
(Wordy)
