MXE&Muscle Relaxant

Hey all,

Hope your night is going well. Quick question for anyone who wants to answer

I bumped 20mg of MXE earlier tonight. I am considering a muscle relaxant to help with a shoulder problem. The relaxant is called cyclobenzaprine.
Is their any reason i should not take it?

I'm just speculating at this point, but I believe MXE and cyclobenzeprine may have a potential interaction due to their serotonin activity. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would proceed with caution if you're going to combine these two chemicals, and watch out for any symptoms of serotonin syndrome.

Thank you for the reply, I will take this cautiously seeing that i took about 35-45 minutes ago.
Now to look for what serotonin syndrome feels like.
5-htp wouldnt help would it?
 
Just an update guys.

So far no noticeable signs a serotonin problems one hour after consumption of muscle relaxant, this seems to be a safe combination.
will continue to keep everybody informed.
 
Definitely do not take 5-htp while you're under the influence of the mxe. Most users from what i've heard have felt sick taking 5-htp and mxe together, and I definitely don't see any benefit to taking them together. Try reading through the mxe combination thread to extract some information, its found here (http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/608840-Methoxetamine-Subthread-Combinations-2nd-experiment).

If you wikipedia serotonin syndrome you'll probably scare yourself a little bit more than necessary; what you need you to watch out for are symptoms of headache, confusion, mania, hot/cold flushes, or gastrointestinal discomfort. I don't foresee any major interaction occurring, but just proceed with caution.
 
For anyone interested, this combination is ok with 1, 5mg cyclobenzaprine a semi-common muscle relaxant.
No signs of SS (serotonin syndrome) were noticed.

I actually took after I was in any kind of social setting/when i got home and its use recreationaly would be zero IMO but everybody is different.
For those who have taken a muscle relaxant more than a total of 3x :) might find this combo more enjoyable but for me it was just a good way to lull myself to bed that night.

Serotonin syndrome also causes severe pain, muscle rigidity, and serious overheating. my ex GF had it once from a sudden interaction between a triptan migraine med and an SSRI. She thought she was going to die that night it was that bad, and could do nothing to get help, as she couldn't move and just had to wait it out for hours and bloody hours. I felt so bad for her. I wish it could have been me, rather in her in that position:(
