It's worth noting that MXE has mild SERT affinity which is more likely to be as an SRI than an SRA. this means it will actually decrease MDMA neurotoxicity and sensible amounts cause no concern for serotonin syndrome.

The case you refer to was a very high dose of both MDAI and MXE, injected. Either alone had potential for serious harm.

I already tried asking this question in the B&D MXE mega thread, and got little response.
This friday I am thinking of taking MDMA combined with 4FA, and am also getting some MXE. I want to take the MXE on the comedown, but I'm not sure if it's safe, becuase I've heard something about combining MDMA with NMDA agonists causing serotonin syndrome. Is this safe? Should I wait on the MXE?

Avoid. If you can't resist, have a sitter and most importantly something to take care of Serotonin Syndrome if it occurs like risperidone or other potent serotonin antagonists. Really do yourself a favor and just don't do it. With all the chems available today, why risk your life?

I think we've established that this is pretty low risk. I would be much more concerned about mixing 4-FA and MDMA as far as serotonin syndrome goes. Symptomatic treatments such as benzos and keeping cool are just fine rather than adding potent and arguably less predictable antipsychotics.
