So i want to have an intense but not too intense trip

i have lots of mxe, 50mg of 4-ho-met and 10mg of 2c-e

I was thinking 50mg mxe would be enough to potentiate the psychedelic side of those other two

but am unsure how 2c-e would work in this combo, am i better off just leaving it out?

ive combined 80mg mxe with 60mg 4-ho-met and it was verry enjoyable

has anyone got any experiences or reasons why 2c-e would be a bad idea?

Some people have said that stimulants mixed with MXE are not a good combination. While 2C-E is not a true stimulant, it does have stimulating effects so I would personally leave it out of the combo.

I would just enjoy the 10mg of 2C-E on it's own. It's enough for a good trip if you snort it. Or enough for a nice day if you eat it.

I would not combine any vasoconstrictors with MXE.. as the stuff is bad enough in that aspect on it's own.

I have mixed feelings on 2C-E + MXE. It certainly makes for an interesting experience, but there is an uncomfortable, anxiety-inducing chest tightness that accompanies it, and that's caused me to feel stressed out and worried during trips.

^ I've found 2C-E to mix wonderfully with MXE. I wouldn't mix a pure stimulant but with MXE + 2C-E + 4-AcO-DMT it was heavenly, so I imagine MXE + 4-HO-MET + 2C-E could be a great mix too. It really depends on how you react to 2C-E, if you're one of those who gets bad bodyload and nausea from it, then it might not work as well in the mix - but otherwise I think it'd compliment the other drugs nicely.

One thing I'd recommend is avoiding dosing it too high - if 10mg is a normal dose for you with 2C-E, the 2C-E's effects (along with those of the MXE and 4-HO-MET) will be greatly potentiated in such a mix. It's also worth keeping the dose on the low side just to be safe anyway since there have been a lot of negative reactions in combinations involving MXE lately.

One time I combined a small 5mg dose of 2C-I with maybe 100mg of MXE. The MXE actually mellowed me out, but I also noticed a bit of tightness in my chest. This relatively low dose experiment leads me to believe that a higher dose of 2C-I, 2C-E, 2C-D, 2C-B, 2C-P, or 2C-C combined with MXE would probably not be something I'd enjoy.

usually ill dose 25mg of 2c-e, and i dont get hardly any side effects from 2c-e so i think this combo will work nicely thanks for replies

Be careful with these sorts of things.

As a rule the more complex the combination the less predictable it becomes. Other than that MXE is not very well understood although it typically seems to combine okay with serotonergic psychedelics in general. 4-HO-MET and 2C-E are of different compound classes but both work in similar ways and make you trip of course. So I would think of this combo you propose by first considering the combination of 4-HO-MET and 2C-E. It is a good idea to first try this combination without the MXE to know how you react to it. Lower your doses accordingly! (Or at least a 4-HO tryptamine with a 2C-X.) Then consider MXE as adding another dimension, first make sure you are not tripping too hard to feel ready to add a whole new dimension to it. Also if you do decide to add MXE keep your doses of that in check, give it a good amount of time to gauge your reaction... don't just keep redosing until you realize you are too high.

That said I am not saying whether you should do this or not, nor should anyone else say if this is recommended or endorsed. We do not allow 'should I take this or not?' thread but of course it can be a grey area if you just want some advice on something in general.

Since it seems you conclude the thread yourself, I add those two reasons together to decide to close this thread.
