Music that makes you LOL !

Does anybody know if those dirty songs from the 40's posted a couple posts back were actually made back then, or is that some kind of joke some one made for the net... there is a you tube https://www.youtube.com/@bannedvinyl and i'm not sure when the stuff was actually made... the production of some of it is really good. like mariah barton. that was from the 70's. i guess i could see people making that joke then, but it's pretty musical... i don't really know what's going on with some of this dirty stuff linking back to the 40's.. i guess it must've been apart of some adult underground culture... did any older folks know about this stuff before the net?

Wondered that myself. I'm not that old. There were some really raunchy old blues songs which were the real deal. Hang on a sec.........

OK, did a little Google fu and those songs are by "Sus records". So, things are already a little sus.

sus records is bringing me to a lot of the banned vinyl collection on you tube... same type stuff.

kind of funny. it seems like the people that make the music are really solid musicians, but their music is so much like all the other music they found they'd get more credit in the long run doing dirty joke songs.

mariah barton really stands out to me. it's like 70's country. i know i've heard a lot of music like that, but i don't remember it having dirty jokes. it sounds really familiar though.

My Nephews were 10 years older, the reason i had a Madness LP at 7.

This and later Punk, all from them. First introduction.
The SantaClaus track is it real, 1972. Amazing.
No artist name and a TakTuk sign, creates some doubt. But sounds real.

We already knew he was on Amanita Muscaria.
Flying in a sled with Reindeer. Wearing white and red. Caught inthe act.
DUI ! Or flying ?

i always thought the specials were one of the best ska bands... thanks for refreshing my memory about them.

i got "where did you go" by the might bosstones recommended to me on you tube a few weeks ago. another one of my favorites... they have a happier vibe than the specials imo.. the specials is some freaky dark shit to me. i love it.

Super cheese. A band called Climax. I bet even they look back and laugh. For 50 years if the damn song played it would stick in my head for a few days. Worked hard to get it out. and then just saw it on a TV show and wham. damn it! Please don't say it was your wedding song.

I swear to God, F&W I was thinking of you when I posted that. In fact, I almost tagged you. I don’t know why you popped into my head, but you did. Please don’t say this was your wedding song. Ha ha very very strange.

Gonna try that. Although I think I did get it out of my head.
