What might someone suggest for someone who's really into defcon-1 and trying to branch out. branch out meaning to the same sorta genre. like, I really like trance. it's in my blood. so, for someone who enjoys festivals and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L__wTBnrNhs&feature=related more than might otherwise be healthy, what should I be looking for? the more contemporary the better. cheers, mk <3

Very cool...that's harder than most trance and sub-psy.

All I can think is to recommend the stuff from the Live at Goliath series. Goliath is a party in Roggwil, Switzerland that rocks some pretty hard trance. The stuff that I tend to hear in the U.S. is more cheesy euphoric stuff so I really cherished this CD during my trance days about ten years back

No suggestions of torrents or links are allowed but recommendations of artists, albums, and tracks are cool. What you do with those recommendations is up to you. That series is really all I can recommend, as my tastes run more toward the deep/minimal end of the spectrum
