Mushrooms vs Truffles

Yeah it exists - but when the cops come bursting through your door and drag you kicking and screaming out of bed it's gonna be no use saying "The website sent it to me it's not my fault". The website owner will be kicking back smoking a doobie while you're life is wrecked.

First off, I didn't tell you to order them. Second, if I may, which country do you live in?
Because here that wouldn't happen (know from experience, package (not truffles something else illegal) got seized by customs, I received an invite to a talk at the police station, I come, they show me an xray of the package and test results of the substance I deny having ordered that, they let me go). I guess they could have tried tracking the money but a WU transfer to China and package from Israel? Well would all that effort be worth for a vial or two of test? And with a good lawyer I would probably have won in court.

I don't think the person who wrote the bill was a hippy, crazycatman. The political party with power at the time (CDA) was Christian at it's core. Now they do say that Jezus was a mushroom, but I wouldn't bet that the CDA is having any of that :D

I'm guessing your reaction had more to do with being up all night, presumably sampling plenty of Amsterdam's less 'natural' or 'legal' delights? A completely empty stomach toughened up by boshing pills all night might be your answer?

I'm pretty sure the truffles are actually now stronger than the mushrooms used to be - at least that's the way it seemed to me earlier this year. When mushrooms were still available I remember the 'philosophers stones' being pretty weak. This April one box of the strongest truffles blew me away.

They taste like mouldy dog crap though - just get them down and you'll soon forget the taste.

I dunno - I don't think you can make rules like that. It depends whether the police have got their prosecution quota for that month. If they've nothing better to do then why not kick down some drug users door? Easy arrest, easy prosecution and get the crime figures up.

Drug busts like you described are practically unheard of here. That's why I said that it wouldn't happen. Half the evidence would be inadmissible because it was obtained illegally (basically if evidence A was obtained illegally than evidence obtained using it is inadmissible too). Hell they can't (well can technically but not legally) even tap the phones of a wanted fugitive to find him.

That and it being EU - EU the package is unlikely to be scanned/opened anyway (it's allowed by law just usually not done).

Usually to get caught doing something like this you would need to do it multiple times, pay with traceable means....

Ordering just one box of truffles, paying by cash in the mail (just checked they offer that option).... well if I were a betting man, thats a bet I'd take.

For this problem the difference between truffles and mushrooms likely does not matter much, although it could be that truffles are more digestible as a form of tissue than the fibrous mushrooms.

A strategy to solve stomach and GI issues is probably not to change the sort of psilocybian product but to make a tea so that you can avoid ingesting the fungus tissue itself.

It's worth a shot, but dose relatively low to test so that you don't have to ride out an intense AND uncomfortable trip.

If it doesn't work and you still get sick, the issue may be that you have a huge population of 5-HT3 receptors in your gut that the drugs bind to, making you nauseous and stuff like that. Drugs like ondansetron could potentially help with that.
I don't think that this is likely to be the problem, because then LSD and other serotonergics would have given you a clue about that as well.
