Mushrooms---(thought i was experienced)>>>humbled beyond belief...

Hmm. Have had similar experience with the deja vu. Was in a club on Halloween in Norwich a few years back and we all took about 2 grams of mushrooms each and a couple of California sunrises. It turned out that they were mostly acid though and after the first hour (two hours after the mushrooms) I was convinced that I was dreaming - but sure the night had happened before. It was all very nice and cozy - if a little intense - up till then but for some reason I decided to leave without my mates. Nearly lost it waiting for a taxi cause of all the fancy dress (seems so silly now) outfits - each time someone walked out of the club I'd say Hi, cause I was sure the whole night had already happened - surely they would remember me...?
I've done loads of mushies b4 and since but never heard of anyone with a similar experience.

I'm tripping on mushrooms right now and that was a most interesting read. Thank you. Typing is difficult..

i couldn't help but reply to this. Hydra, this as just amazing. I have not read a report this well written in a long time! I cant really articulte the things that i am thinkng so, i will just close my eyes and drift off.

I applaud your choice to take time off of hallucinogens for a time. It's like Kesey said, once you've opened the door there's no reason to step through it again and again. I can tell you from experience that if you jump back in again too quickly you will only sully the previous experience.
This past summer my first trip of the season was the pinnacle of any drug experience I have ever had. Both my friend and I, on an unknown weight of wet mushrooms, climbed onto the peak you hit at the tail of your trip and stayed there the entire duration of our trip. Thinking back on it now gives me butterflies in my stomach and almost brings tears to my eyes. Learning from past mistakes I refused to trip again for the rest of the summer, and am happy I did. I may never trip on mushrooms again just to ensure that that experience remains untarnished.
 
amazing report, Hydra.. it's been a while since I did a high dose of mushrooms, but I'm getting shivers up and down my spine remembering how powerful it can be
 
Hydra, I know exactly what you speak of. I hate it when death comes into a trip...I actually told myself I was going to die on a shitty shroom trip...this thread.
I know about the popping back into reality, too...Oddly enough a time recently after the posted trip, which I'll report on, I had another bad trip and they had to call my parents cuz they thought I was dying...I snapped out of the trip as my mother walked in the room.
I guess they don't call 'em Magic Mushrooms for nothing.
