No one seems to like the storage thread so I'll post here. LSD storage:

I have it in tinfoil, in a small plastic baggy, in a dark box on my shelf. To put in the fridge or not? I was thinking fridges are kinda humid, kinda like, all condensation-esque when said acid is taken out, I mean, why's there ice in the freezer if there's no moisture?

I need to keep these 2 hits for like 6 months (I know, lmao, but reduced potency is fine in my book, completely), I just wanted to get them when it was available, I'm totally not ready for it for at least 6 months though. Soooo, any storage suggestions to keep it cool without moisture, as moisture is bad, ya? Do you think I can realistically expect LSD to still be on these blotters after 6 months given proper storage?

Fridge isn't necessary. From personal experience as long as you've got it in a plastic baggy, then wrap it in foil and put it in a dark spot that isn't too hot or cold it will be fine for quite a while (well over 6 months). I believe the fridge is more so for liquid.

Hmm, cool beans then, hopefully it won't lose too much potency. I'm possibly way over thinking things, but the tin foil it is wrapped in originally contained a gram of Cannabis, so I gave it a quick rinse under tap water, dried it, left it out for a little while (I don't have any tin foil really, uni student and all). Dunno why I'm saying this, I'm sure the tiny amounts of Cl and cannabis resin left on it won't make much difference, haha.

^ Yeah, that was overkill. If anything you could have damaged the LSD with the water remnants (assuming it wasn't completely dry)

Just wondering about heat affecting acid...What temp does acid start to degrade? If i had a few hits in a hot car, would it destroy it?

I've had a few hits in my car before in the ashtray (i dont smoke either).. upto 5-6 hours in a car on a hot day in the sun. I didnt notice any drop in potency at all.

does keeping tabs out in sunlight or in your pocket too long mess up the LSD? like can heat or sunlight take away from the acid on tabs?

Lsd is actually a pretty fragile compound. Light degrades lsd and breaks it down into its inactive isomers. Keep your acid out of light and heat mostly and you should be fine(air and moisture are your other concerns but not as much).
I read that for every -10C drop in temperature you effectively double the life of your lsd.

ive always been VERY paranoid about my acid degrading so i ahev a quick question. i have a small stash that i have wrapped in alot of aluminum foil and sealed in a zip loc bagggie after squeezing the air out. i then unscrewed the bottom off my alarm clock and put the whole rig in there and re-sealed it. the alarm clock isnt used and is un plugged 24/7. do you guys think the acid will be fine until around the end of april?

i've kept acid in a simliar way in the back of a cd case for several years w/o noticable lose of potency.

as long as u keep it away from light and air, acid seems to last pretty well as blotter

i would recommend against freezing blotter, because frost could end up melting onto the paper and getting it wet

But seriously. Acid isn't nearly as fragile as so many people out there seem to believe it is. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

so, i stumbled upon 6 altoids that i dropped out of a vial about a year ago. it was a fresh breath, so i know ther was a little sugar or mint in ther.. but i look at the side where i dropped'm and its brown. wtf? not like really brown, just a noticeable off-white, tan color. but def. different then when i dropped them. wondering peoples thoughts.... was it a bad bottle? different chem?(which i truly doubt cuz i remember it being good L) or maybe something to do with the purity of the crystal? i wanna eat them but im confused

odds are the LSD is still there, unless you've left it in a car or something where the heat substantially higher than 90F multiple times. Even then its quite possible the LSD is ok. Only one way to find out....

I'm about to hit a couple of hits but i have a question..they have been sitting in the glove box of my car for about 4-5 days and it has been in the low 90's everyday this week. Would the heat have any affect on the potency of the hits? It was wrapped in foil but i've heard that heat hurts things like that. thanks.

^Not an ideal environemtn for LSD, but they may not have degraded that much. Only one way to find out

IMO mushrooms don't combine very well. Even MDMA didn't go well with them for me, while I love MDMA with LSD. The only drug I have succesfully combined with shrooms is weed, but not consistently. Shrooms with LSD or 2C-B didn't work either for me. I need to treat shrooms with a lot of respect, more so than most other psychedelics.
