Ohhh! Wow! this was just spring last year - just before they stopped selling mushrooms over the counter. Anyway we bougght just a box of amazonians and a box of mexicans and we went home and took them, I recommend not having drunk alcohol and being of happy mind and having a nice time. I cut them up finely and stuck them in a cuppa soup - and we drank them.

We sat outside for ages and stared at the wooden fence on the tiny patio. Oh! 'We' is me and my ex, Rax. still my chosen drug partner of choice though.

I could tell over time that the fence was wobbling and starting to look like a lordo f the ringsesque moutainous kingdom - anyway Rax doesnt come up to well, but he was doing fine, but I was tranfixed. we drank the rest of our soup and waited half an hour then made more.

Last time we tripped we stayed in and listenend to infected mushroom - hearing it sober I didnt recognise it at all, that was funny except when you play hide and seek and one of you drifts off and forgets to look and leaves the other in the cupboard gigglegigglegiggle.

anyway - so we put on our shoes and off we went - it was a lovely warm sunny blue sky day and we were off to the local park. hee - we were giggling like girls because we were floating along. the word was alwqays ''apparently'' - apparently we're off the park - no idea how I am driving this body machine, but we are off - *drift* giggle

by the time we had got to the park we were in full invisile leg mode and we were just the grin from the grinning cats floating along - but Id had this fancy - ever seen wallace and gromit, the wrong trousers? the robot legs things? I was htinking we had those and I was saying ''apparently'' - race your machine over there - how do you control it? where's the break? and we were just off through the park, through the woods, charging through bracken and off the path cos we didnt realise there was one...

hee - we got to the hidden meadow and lay in the grass - rax was still having a slight gurn, but it was ok - it always passes - i think it hurts his tummy - erm, but I lay and watched a butterfly in the distance and we lay there for about half an hour maybe? no idea in actual fact - then moved off. in th epark there are woods, lake and field with horses, so we traipsed through the woods, laughing and giggling, just wandering. he grew an affinity with a tree and with his shades on he just climbed it and dangled from branches. I thought tree frog but he was in black and so I can go with panther. but I couldnt bear to watch, so I had to move on.. seek my fortune.. hahah

I wandered mindlessly - literally through the woods, touching the new spring leaves and boy! it was spiritual!! it was, I could see each hair and as I stroked the new leaf it was soooooo soft.. so light fresh green, it was a gift - it was lovely - I wandered on an came round to a horse - i asked her name and she said catherine. and another said her name was emily - (her actual name is nelly - sounds almost right) . I sat with catherine - maybe what, 5 years old? white and black, not too big, they just loiter in the park and eat. I sat by her and we cuddled and talked and stroked and it was lovely - and I chatted to he and she could understadn me - I sat and took my shoes off and I said over an dover - you can do anything you like but just watch my toes, dont stand on my toes... and she flicked her tail each time as if to say, I know I know, I am not going to stand on your toes. but I sat and she nibbled my hair and my jumper and my toes and we stroked, it was very very lovely.

every so often rax and I would check in at various parts of the park - just check all was ok and it very very was.

I think it was a very introspective but loving and at peace trip[ and it was an uplift to the soul to see nature out there and real and its so very beautifuland how you can interrat with it to enrich your own life.

i wish i could trip with horses in parks like that :\ im in the damn everglades, tripping isnt much fun in a swamp lol

Tripping in a wood/forest is very much fun indeed. I'm jealous :D
I was planning on taking mushrooms this weekend at a metal festival, that'll be pretty much the opposite; no forest, only lots of people. I was already not sure if I was going to do it, but report made me doubt even more. I think I will save the trip for when I'm in a park/forest :) Thanks

Nice, Pomplemous! I think your writing style captures the energy of the trip well. Animals really are great, huh? And they're very receptive to psychedelic states.

argh! no way would I do mushrooms at a metal gig! there is always a certain er... 'anger' vibe at these places - (not anger as in fighting anger - but the anger that's in the music) and too many people and you will be wandering aimlessly and Id not do it anywhere where I didnt know where I was, and know how to get to a quiet place at a seconds notice - I lik to have a nice time, just have your creature comforts around you - I love marsh mallows on a trip and stuff like that. plenty of fags - shit, I even managed to buy fags in the shop! i forgot that that was funny.

but be places where you feel safe and can relax. makes for a good trip cos you know that anywhere you are and anyone around you, it's oik to be however you need to be.

that time rax and I stayed in - hahaha - I remember he tickled me stiaight for about an hour and we laughed and laughed and laughed for hours! hahahahaa - that was hilarious!!

nice adventure to come from a cup 'o soup [yecch, can't find a good cup 'o soup for love nor money] :)
