A Trip down memory lane
1.7 grams of mushrooms consumed each, High grade cannabis, Nicotine
0:00 – 0:15 This trip was my 2nd shroom trip, and my friends first shroom trip and was not very visual like my first trip but very memorable and very fun. My friend woke me up on an early Monday morning and we went to a local park/woods near us to trip. We both ate our shrooms in the car and set out to find a nice spot in the woods. We smoked a bowl
and got to our spot, a dock type thing with a seat overlooking water in the woods. We
were both on an empty stomach, and within 15 minutes the shrooms started to come on
hard. The come up was harsh on our stomachs and felt very strong and gritty, wasn’t a
pleasant come up at all. We both started to feel increasingly uncomfortable
0:15 – 0:45 The trip started by now and my friend stayed near the water while I walked a little bit into the woods. The trees felt very tall as if they were watching me and I felt like a creature of the woods and very small compared to the trees. My friend says he felt like he was a fish, the trip was still very uncomfortable when we decided to take a walk back to my friends car.
0:45 – 1:00 We get to my friends car and he decides that he wants to go back to my house before we start tripping to hard and I agree and we make the short drive back to my house. Driving was very scary but we made it back alive, but I do not suggest driving while tripping.
1:00 – 3:00 Now that we are at my house we both feel as if a burden has been lifted from us and we start to enjoy the trip. We go out to my backyard and smoke a little more weed, the weed is train wreck and very high quality. We both feel very euphoric and start talking to each other a lot, talking about anything. My friend pulls out a pack of cigarettes, and while I smoked for a year or so I quit but for some reason I wanted one when he pulled them out. I put the cigarette to my mouth and my friend looks at me and says wow I haven’t seen you with a cigarette in your mouth in a along time.
Smoking the cigarette is very pleasurable and I want to smoke more but we both realize with only have a few left. We decide to take a walk to the local 711 and pick up a pack, so we go after my friend throws up (not a bad thing, he always purges during trips).
We go for a walk and feel very euphoric and talk and reminisce. It feels like we are 16 years old again and hanging out for the first few times. We started to talk about our friendship and it literally felt like we were young again. It was amazing.
As we approach the 711 theres a small old black woman standing on the side walk, and as soon as get near her she turns around at us and gives us a smile. We both agree that this smile was heavenly and we both turned to each other making comments on her smile. Something simple as a smile brought our trip up and made us feel very giggly and happy. Her smile touched our hearts, it was very beautiful.
3:00 – 4:00
We make it back home and just sit in my backyard talking to each other and smoking more pot as the trip dies down. We both have a nice after glow and are in a very good mood.
While this trip was not very visual at all, it was amazing and beautiful in its own way. It felt as if our memory of our friendship was triggered or something similar during the trip and it felt as if we were reliving us hanging out as younger kids. It was a lot of fun and very memorable although not typically what people expect while doing shrooms.
TLDR: This trip produced feelings of reliving old memories and brought me and my friend feeling like we were sixteen again hanging out for the first few times. Anyone have something similiar to this happen to them?
