Hi all,
Any of you who hang around the Dark Side at all may know I've been fighting opiate addiction on and off for pretty much the last decade. Started off with fst Kratom, then on and up through codeine, dhc, oxy, heroin. Then I found my soul mate in pods for a long long time.
As any opiate addict knows, it'll reduce sex drive to pretty much zero. I quit the pods some 3 months ago, and have been patiently waiting for my systems to reset.
Last Friday I went to a Shpongle gig and munched a pile of cubensis. What with all the lovely hippy chicks and the head full of shrooms, it really made me think about what I've been missing. Feeling feelings that I wasn't sure I was ever going to feel again.
Now, 6 days later, none of those feelings have faded.Now all I got to do is go find someone to share all that with.
My point is - thank you mushrooms for reawakening that side of my being!
What's the oddest side effect hallucinogens have instilled in you?
