I want to let you know about the only trip I've done so far...

Some of my friends went back from Holland with a nice gift... yep, magic mushrooms! :D
They had tried 'em during the vacation, reporting to us theri fantastic experience... so, the plan was simple: at the first available date, we would have gone to the country house of one of those guys.

It was a bright september day, and we ate shrooms at about 17:30.
(Can't remember how many each... I think it was about 3/4 normal dose)
Immediately we started walking to reach the near wood.
We sat down into a little clearing, smoking peacefully a couple of joints...

h. 18.10
We were 6: two of my friends begun to laugh without reason, and when they did realise they were laughin for nothing but the effect rising, they were keeping on laughing more and more.

h 18.20
Maybe pulled along by the other 2, me and other two guys begun to feel different...

h 18.30
The last guy leaved, saying that shrooms weren't doing anything...
I think it was expecting too much, especially after just 1 hour after the ingestion...

h 19
Since now I will report my own experience.
I begin to lose some bridges over reality, the nature around me looks so great!!! So I take a long natural rod and some giant green leaves and begin to "hunt dryads" (I was saying so :)).

I wasn't "mad" at all, I knew there was not any dryad: but that "game" was so funny, and moreover contributed to let me melt with the surrounding setting in a way never felt before (when I was trying to camouflage with the trees, I was feeling like being part of these)

h 19.30
The Sun gone definitely down behind a high hill: there was still light, but it looked so unreal... I feel the effects rising and inside me I'm thinking "This is such a beautiful thing..."
Me and the other 4 dudes gathered togheter again, and started takin a short walk in the footpath... you have to image this, all around we had 15 meters tall trees, with a little light filtering between the fronds...
We obviously started talking about RPG things....

h 20.30 [1st of 3 particular moments]
Light has gone... but the Moon is strong and now I'm laying down the footpath with my friends...
This has been a great time indeed.
We all felt like being someway united: it was like we couldn't move at al, but that really was not a flaw, since we were wandering very nicely.
Personally, I begun to look strongly at the high part of trees, that where forming (for real :)) a natural ceiling...
And here I had some nice hallucinations: the darkness and the leaves disappeared, and I saw a kind of huge cube made of glass interleaved by metal bars (some kind of futuristic structure), and I had the impression that was kind of city... I clearly recognized a sort of flying vehicle standing still, with a man inside.
That vision lasted some minutes, then gone away.

h 21
Around 20 I thought the fx were at a peak... how I was wrong, they were peaking just right now!!!! =D
We raised a bit, sitting instead of laying (excluding one, who was taking a nice inner trip), and one of them turned up a lighter.
Reactions were differents: some were liking that, but I rejected the idea of a light there, saying something like "That is... reality... turn it off..."
During the minute we could see thanks to the lighter, faces looked so different from usual! Not the lineaments, but the colour! One of my friends was almost dark brown (and he's quite bright), another almost white...

h 21.30
While in the highest phase of our trip, we started to walk again, returning to where we came from, the little clearing.
Here, I had an istant of fear: one of my friends were dressing a black suite with a cap over the head... with the contribute of darkness and mushrooms, his face looked very dark, so dark that suddenly I had an hallucination: I saw him with shadows instead of eyes and mouth.
Frightened, I took a quick step back, like a little jump backwards: the fear, anyway, lasted just a second: then I realised it was a hallucination, and I kept on walkin embracing my friend with one arm.

h 22
One of my friends begun to pretend to leave the wood: it entered some kind of paranoia (maybe it was caused even by the dark environment) and we could do nothing to stop him, he went home (the house was 5 minutes away...)

h 22.15
Trying to stop him, we went outside the wood...
When, walkin on the footpath to reach the "main" street ("main" is a HUGE word, it is almost desert anyway ;)), the street itself was just 30 meters away, I begun to have another, powerful, hallucination...

There were some streetlamps, and one of those were just at the exit of the wood, in front of a (empty :)) house: I couldn't see the reality, I saw kind of city down there, with the little villa becoming a great modern palace, with lights everywhere...
I couldn't believe to what I was seeing...

We reached the street: the light of the streetlamp brought us back to reality...at least it was what I thought...

h 22.30 [2nd of 3 particular moments]

My friends sat down over a little wall: I kept on standing still, closing my eyes. I was feeling like the world had some kind of flow surrounding everything, and I was able to sense and touch it: I opened my eyes, and I saw the whole setting a little fluidy, like moving my hand I could warp things, or at least my vision of them.
This was a great part of the trip, with thoughts about life ("we are just ash, we are part of the Everything, but we are condemned to return to it"), God (I dont believe in God, and this trip someway strengthened my idea), Cosmo and many other introspective arguments...

h 23 [3rd of 3 particular moments]
The trip was almost over, and we started coming back home...
Suddenly, a charge of shroom effect shaked my mind, while I was lookin at the Moon: I CLEARLY saw a face instead of the pallid circle.
The strongest thing about hits hallucination is this: "shocked" a bit for that vision, I took my glance away of it... after some seconds I looked again at the Moon and.. the face was still there! I repeated the experiment and it was there again, and again! Not only, the 4th time I looked at that I saw the face split in 2 parts, and another, identical face appeared.
After some minutes, anyway, it faded away, and we went home.

The longest journey of my life was ended...

Well, what can I say more.. nothing I think ;)
It was great, great indeed!

I hope I'll be able to make something like that with the HBWR seeds, because it was a wonderful voyage.

If I had to change something, here are the changes (that I'll apply during my next trip with HBWR):
- I want more light, to appreciate more the nature and highlight the feeling of happiness
- Want to try to listen to some music, or to look at something usual for me, too see how it changes during trip
- An extending of the interior thoghts, to elaborate and complete some of my "theories" about life and world.

That's all folks, I hope u liked it!!

I don't think your HBWR trip will live up to your expectations. It's nothing like a mushroom trip.

I've read a lot and I've understood it is quite different from shrooms trip... but nevertheless anyone who reports back from a HBWR trip quotes hallucination, altered perceptions and so on...
Could u describe the main aspects of a HBWR trip?

Sounds like a good time =)

HBWR can easily match or beat that in terms of visuals (although it might not), but the main aspect of a HBWR trip is its unpredictability. One trip might be a fun mellow time (unlikely) or another one could mess with your head so much that your basic personality structure is completely different for a few hours (I've seen it happen), or you could have some visuals and be bored otherwise. Be prepared for bodily discomfort of all kinds.

HBWR is hardly recreational (shrooms can be, I guess). Only bother with HBWR if you are truly intrigued by whatever this plant may have to show you.

oh yeah, please read the forum guidelines and edit your title accordingly (or look at how most other people have done it and copy them). Welcome to Trip Reports =D

:D
I knew HBWR is not that recreative plant, I'm aware of that.
The trip I want to take this december is way different from this I've told to you: I just want to live the surrounding nature in a different way, obviously I can't know HOW different that way will be, but I will take a light dose first to see how I react.
